    Macyn looked down at Tanner, and her eyes got wide. "You smell that?" she woofed softly, "Smells like..death!'' She looked around her, ears pinned to her skull.






    Connor plopped onto the couch, putting his head into his hands. He became deep in thought, trying to figure out what to do.

    Macy took a step back. Something wasn't right. She let out a small growl, then quickly shut up, just in case they were close. "Vampire?" she said quietly.








    Connor looked at her, "I uh.." he changed his mind on what he wanted to say, and now he was practically brain dead. "Uuh...how was your breakfast?"

    Macyn stiffened. She didn't like the smell of vampires, nor the very sight of them. She did as she was told to do, careful not to make a sound.









    Connor watched her go up the stairs and into her bedroom. He sighed out his nose, and stood up. He began to toss around in his mind as to if he should follow or not.





    Macyn slowly backed up, and paused comeletly when the scent got stronger. Crunching of leaves beneath someone's feet was standing out, could be heard by anyone in their position.


    Suddenly, above them, a female vampire with light, brown hair sat on a branch. She peered below her, and then, voice rough yet desirable, said, "Well, well well, what do we have here?"









    Connor decided, and raced up the stairs. Taking a deep breath, he said, "Eklipse, I need to tell you something."

    "What now?" she mumbled, turning her head to look at him. In the very few minutes they had been separated, a big change had a occurred. Her eyes were now, dull, and had deep bags beneath them.

    Tanner let out a growl. "Leave us be you damn bloodsucker." he growled, standing protectively in front of Maycn.




    Macyns breath hitched in her throat. She pressed her body against Tanners, out of nervousness.


    "Well gee, you've got a big mouth there, don't you?" the vampire hissed. She had fresh blood on her fangs, and a little on her lips. She had been hunting on their territory.









    Connor let out a nervous sigh, noticing her dark circles. "Uh..I..I.." he started, cheeks getting rosy red. "Ilikeyoumorethanjustafriend." he said quickly, words slurred.





    Macyn didn't want to leave, out of the fear that he'd get hurt. She just looked at him, and stood there, acting like she didn't hear. Her nose was pointed at the vampire in the tree.


    The vampire grinned. "Bitch? I'm not that much of one..but I can be. You little shit." she said, glaring down at him. She jumped off the tree, and landed onto the ground not to far away from him.







    Connor felt all his blood rush to his cheeks. He couldn't find words to say. And he didn't know if she didn't understand what he had said, or if she was just shocked. He let out a nervous laugh. "Uh...yeah.."





    Macyn watched, ears pinned to her head.


    The vampire swiftly moved out of the way. "Oh, of course I do, I know all the rules, but that doesn't mean I have to follow them."







    "It's hard not to." Connor spoke, a bit more confident then a second ago.
