NightPaw woke up slowly and jumped up when he realized that AdderPaw wasn't in the den. He raced out and found her by the fresh kill pile "You could have told me you were waking up!"
He growled padding up to her.
AdderPaw looked over at him, her amber gaze narrowing "Well I didn't want to wake you from your beauty sleep" she sneered
NightPaw huffed "Whatever." He murmured stalking over to her and sitting beside her and grabbing a mouse and started to eat it.
Jaypaw and Featherpaw walked into camp carrying fresh kill. "See Jaypaw your mentor was wrong, you can catch a bird without trouble." Featherpaw said with a plump vole in her jaw.
"I guess" Jaypaw shrugged and dropped his sparrow on the fresh kill pile.
"Hi Nightpaw, hi Adderpaw. The prey is running well you should come hunting with us later."

"Uh oh" Jaypaw whispered to Featherpaw, as he saw Swiftleap padding towards them.
NightPaw nodded "Yea, I was going to go hunting later, but we can all hunt together later" he meowed finishing his meal.
AdderPaw finished her vole and stood up "I guess I could do some hunting. Something to stretch my legs." She meowed twitching her tail.

Swiftleap twitched his ear, turning a sharp glance to the other two apprentices, "you will do none of it!" he growled warningly, turning back to featherpaw and jaypaw, "you two know better than to go out alone without a warrior's supervision! Especially considering whats going on" he glanced at nightpaw and adderpaw, "and you two! you should've heard by now at least! there are foxes roaming around and its carelessness like yours that'll get you killed! do i make myself clear?" he asked, his voice stern
Brezepelt broke off from the conversation with frostfur and bounded towards the group and mewed gruffly "Whats the matter swiftleap?" when he saw the two apprentices he knew "Oh.. they went out.. well they didnt know so i wouldnt be too hard at them.." he turned to adderpaw and mewed "We'll be practicing battle moves close too camp so were not vulnerable to the foxes till its sorted out"
"Fine. All make new plans" she murmured narrowing her eyes and muttering something under her breath low enough for no one to hear.
"Yes Swiftleap" Featherpaw squeaked. "But Swiftleap I wasn't alone, Featherpaw and I could take a fox down if necessary and look at the plump prey we caught. You told me I needed to work on my bird hunting." Jaypaw complained.

[size=20pt]ic;[/size] Swiftleap shook his head, "no, you guys would die at the paws of a hungry fox, no questions asked" he smiled, back to his usual, cheerful self, "and were would i be without an apprentice to bully around, huh?" he raised a brow at Jaypaw, "when i said that i didnt mean for you to go out in a predator-infested forest-" he paused, ears perked, "you caught prey?" he glanced at the plump bird and, though the grey tabby had already eaten, felt his mouth watering at the sight. he quickly cleared his throat and pawed the bird closer to him casually, "ok, as punishment for going without telling anyone, im confiscate your prey..."

Jaypaw giggled then smiled with pride.
"Your not going to keep prey that we need?" AdderPaw murmured narrowing her eyes "Or do you want us to starve?"
NightPaw looked around nervously, wrapping his tail around his paws.
Breezepelt narrowed his eyes at the young warrior and mewed sternly "Swiftleap.."
"Jaypaw I'm tired I'm going to go take a nap. Can you wake me if I'm needed or if anything exciting happens?"
Featherpaw asked and gave a big yawn.
"Alright get some rest" Jaypaw flicked his tail goodbye.
Swiftleap glanced at the older warrior, smiling cheekily, "what? its a good punishment! Right?" he asked Jaypaw. he snorted, glancing at adderpaw, "you can catch more, cant you? and there are loads more prey in the fresh kill pile" none as good as this one though... he thought, glancing at the bird again. Quickly, to avoid any more sternness from Breezepelt and Adderpaw, he grabbed the bird, "ill train you later, 'kay Jaypaw" he mumbled through the prey before bolting for the warrior's den safety
Breezepelt glared after the young warrior as he disapeared into the warriors den, he would speak to him later though, he bounded back towards frostfur to continue there chat
