Moonpaw frowned, but then nodded. "Okay. but next time there's a battle, I'm coming with you." she mewed, smiling again. I don't want to lose any of my friends... not ever again.

Gorsepaw nodded. Then hesitated, "No you wont.. you wont get hurt while with me." Gorsepaw mewed.

"But I will" Altrapaw growled.

"No, I cant let both of you get hurt... I cant let anyone." Gorsepaw sighed.

"Well I don't want any of my friends to get hurt either, you know. It would kill me." Moonaw mewed, "But does that mean that you won't fight? No. So, with that in mind, I will go with you whether you want me to or not." Moonpaw finished, nodding her head in self-approval.

Gorsepaw shook his head. They didnt understand they were important to him.

Rainbowpaw padded into the apprentice den and stared at all the conversing cats. "So, what did I miss?" she mewed.

"Nothing much. We were talking about they going with me to fight. Again.." Gorsepaw mewed.

"I haven't been in many fights."

Moonpaw glanced over at Rainbowpaw and then smiled. "Hey, Rainbowpaw!" she mewed.

"Hey Moonpaw. How was your day?" Rainbowpaw purred, grooming her paw.

Moonpaw shrugged. "It was okay." she mewed, "You?"

"Tiring. A Shadow-Clanner got into camp and we had to fight it off."

Gorsepaw licked his tail.

Rainbowpaw lay on her back, her hind legs in the air and her front legs laying on the ground. "Well, nice chatting. I'm going to take a nap, we can share tongues again later."

Moonpaw nodded. "Okay!" she mewed happily.

Gorsepaw chased a pesky fly.

Moonpaw giggled and watched Gorsepaw chase a fly. he reminds me so much of him... she thought, thinking of her kithood.

Rainbowpaw awoke from a nightmare, afraid if whether it was from StarClan or if it was just a fragment of her imagination. "Hi again Moonpaw, Gorsepaw."
