He tried to just curl up with the constriction, but failed completely because of his size. Deciding he needed help, Mero did his best to part the fire wall, allowing just enough time to let Nefar inside.

Sensing more than seeing the danger, Tygur pulled himself tighter and finally teleported flame out of the fire box. Flame, shaking himself off, instantly summoned his elemental armor and charged toward nefar, hoping to give Tygur enough time to kill mero so that they could deal with nefar together.
Elemental armor:
one of my best ideas yet, and about a week old, so not all the details are worked out. Basically, the armor enhances an aro's element, while taking any blows aimed at the aro to itself, so it actually doesn't last for that many battles. It cannot be used in any beast form.
-
Mero went limp and let his eyes glaze over as if he were dead. Originally this move was looked down upon, but he knew Nefar wouldn't care or tell. Nefar turned into the Metal Soldier, his wings disappearing as Mero's had. "Come at me," he said, his voice as empty as his appearence.
-
Tygur paused for a moment, his grip neither loosening nor tightening as he felt for any signs of life whatsoever. He had encountered moves similar to this before, and was very wary whenever one of his enemies died, often beheading them just to be sure. However, he couldn't very well do that in beast form, as his touch would melt any metallic object. Meanwhile, Flame growled, his face hidden behind a mask of gold as he slowly let himself catch fire, debating his next move.
-
Mero held his breath. Where is Java when you need the dang Rurress? Nefar stayed put, staring without blinking as he always did. It wasn't difficult to scare his opponents into not moving.
-
Sighing irately, the ill-tempered flame stared back. "You know what? I don't like you that much." He growled. So saying, he hurled a massive fireball straight for his opponents face. Tygur, meanwhile, uneasy at the thought of letting a possibly live enemy go but seeing the danger flame was in, suddenly released his grip and, going out of beast form, summoned his own elemental armor and charged nefar from behind, blazing.
-
Mero immediately jumped away and landed squarely on his paws to stand beside his friend. He grinned at the two Aros, returning to his normal form, looking small beside Nefar. "You amuse me," he said, "so back off and I won't let my friend kill you."
-
Flame and tygur glared at eachother, silently blaming the other for their current peril but neither willing to answer the rur.
-
Seeing the current conflict between the aros, Nefar changed back to his normal form as well and followed Mero out as the fire wall was parted, allowing enough space for the two to leave. "We have some honor," the silvery cat said, "but don't expect us to have pity if you want to fight next time."
-
Flame exploded. "WHAT?!?! ARE WE JUST GOING TO LET THEM GO LIKE THA?!?!" He yowled at tygur. Tygur snarled at flame, extinguishing the fire wall as he did so. "Yeah, we are!" He said. "Unless you have a better idea! Look, next time we can get klor and Stillwater and then we can have some explosions, Kay? Live and let be!"
-
The two rejoined their group, who all glared at the two fire elementals except for Mero, who just looked at them with pride, and gave them a curt nod.
-
Flame snarled at the group of rurs, his eyes a vicious yellow. "This isn't over, mark my words." He growled. "I'll be back with more!" So saying, he took off, his red pelt vanishing over the edge of the cliff. Tygur sighed. "Forgive him." He meowed, giving the rurs a slight bow, aroian fashion. "He is short-tempered and strong of will, and none too smart. I would not wish that his foolish words would incur the wrath of creatures such as yourselves."
-
Harper tried to take off after Flame, but Nefar held her down. "WHY I OUGHTA..." she growled. Mero nodded. "It will be fine. Just so long as you stay clear of Harper," he joked.
