The sequel thread to "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I wake you?" has been created. Check out "I was already awake." on my related posts.

IC: Before Acario could reach her with Crunch, a wave of water littered with sand rose up in front of her, which crashed down on Acario.

  • Acario was swept away by the wave, leaving him sprawled out on the ground several feet away, spitting the murky water out of his mouth. He got up and grinned. "I guess it's time to bring out the big guns." Electricity started to arc across him, the rain hitting causing sparks to jump. A bolt leaped from him at Mari, marking her as the target for the bolt of lightning that struck down from the clouds.

Kyle stood up and stretched his legs. He walked off into the greenery. He looked at his talons and clenched his claws. He watched as bird-like creatures soar through the sky. He looked to the ground, seeing the scorched footprints he left behind.

  • Flare continued to circle overhead, flying back as the electricity slammed down onto the ground. "/Wouldn't want to be hit by that,/" he muttered.

  • Mari yelped as electricity struck her, falling on the ground as a burning sensation covered her body. "Ow ow ow...." she grumbled.
