The Doctor shook his head. "Nah, they never do," he smirked again, remembering the countless times he'd been threatened to be sued. Quite a few, actually, had required a bit of tampering with the Sonjc Screwdriver. "How long, do you reckon, until we get to the Canyon?" the Doctor asked, his gaze passing over the others on the train/bus/thing once again.

"Hmmm..." the Doctor thought for a moment, then shot a question at Crystal. "What star system are we in right now?" he raised an eyebrow, leaning back into the seat and wondering if she would answer. Crystal did, the Doctor thought, seem to have an innate sense of time and spaceman-y stuff, just according to how she'd known what to so about the Sonic and how much time was left in the ride. Well, actually, some could guess both, but still...

"Ahh. Okay," the Doctor nodded, leaning back in the seat again, closing his eyes. Then he popped bak upright, eyes snapping open. "A doorstep, you say?" he echoed, hoping for confirmation. Sure, the Doctor could be called crazy, eccentric, and utterly reckless, but he was also extremely brilliant, eccentric, and brave.

Just for the plot-- What if The Prophet and Wonder were to appear on the bus/train/thingy? That way Wonder could tell him what he has to do in The New Time-Lords then move on in their own time stream. xD

When the cow let out a singular moo, the boy stifled a bout of laughter, struggling to keep on a straight face. All the while the Doctor looked on in utter amazement and shock. "How- How'd you get aboard? This is a TELEPORT-FREE zone!" he stammered, eyes wide.

Unable to contain his laughter at that, the boy burst out in laughter, startling the other passengers. "Your father looks like he's doing well," he commented after studying the Doctor for a moment. "Hello, Doctor. I'm the Prophet," the boy said, flashing a smile at the Time-Lord and Crystal. "Say, you remind me of Chatterbox back there," the Prophet nodded at Crystal, gesturing back at Wonder.

The Doctor just gaped up at the Time-Lords, unable to move or make a sound. "How?" he asked suddenly, though he was truly bewildered by the duo. Well, trio if you count the cow, the Doctor considered, though still taken aback.
