Personality:Lanie likes to drift through life.Careful,loyal,and lovable,she loves to sing and drift into life,and walk through carefully.Being blind,she mostly spends time in the water,where she can see.
History:She's a half-blood:born to a human male and a mermaid female.She grew up with her father,being blind at birth.Her father kept the secrets from her;He was a semi-mer,so was she,and that she could see in water.When she grew up,on her fourteenth birthday,her father told her and led her underwater.She transformed for the first time...and she could see.She realized she had powers:Blind as a human,with sight as a mermaid.

Personality:: She's mischievous, always trying to play pranks on people, but knows when she's taken a joke too far. At times she can be quite bossy, but most of the time she prefers a carefree attitude, often ditching little tasks. But she's always willing to stand up for a friend, defending them with fierce anger. But when it comes to her secret life as a sea-dweller, she's quite secretive.
History: She was your typical normal child, having tea parties and play dates. That is until a blaze of fire claimed her parents and her home. No one ever saw her crying, or stop smiling. She remained positive, a cheerful glimmer always sparkling in her eyes. Afterwards she was adopted by her aunt, which she loves and cares for almost as much as her own mother.
Other: 'Awesome'. She's cursed with this form for an unknown reason. It's brought on by intense hatred and resentment, which is usually to an enemy. First her skin begins to pale, a grey tinge to it, as her hair begins to darken, from the tips up, into a deep shade of obsidian. Her eyes become an intense shade of violet, her power heightening. It's only then when she releases her inner animal, usually unintentionally, though she struggles at this stage to keep it in.

ic:Lanie walked around,with her best friend following her."Hey Lanie,you need help crossing?""Hey Lay,you need help ordering your food at the mall?"Her friend would ask when they were in the mall on Saturday's,like they always were."I'M FINE!"Lanie snapped,yelling a little louder then she wanted.She ran out of the Mall,walking down the sidewalk that lead to the pier.She looked around and put her hood up so no one would see her.She took off her shoes and kicked them into the ocean,testing the water speed and current.It was perfect to dive.She jumped into the air and dived into the water,transforming as soon as she hit water....her best friend saw her.

Walking towards the beach, Maiha slung her bag higher on to her shoulder, breathing a sigh of relief as the salty scent o the sea drifted through the wind. She set out her towel on the scorching sand, her secret spot quite far away from the main beach. It was literally a small stretch of sand, around 100m length wise, by 6 meters. All around it, greenery such as trees and shrubs grew defiantly in the salty soil. Taking off her shorts and t-shirt, she wore a luminous yellow bikini underneath, though she didn't enter the water yet, just sitting beside the shore, her toes just inches away from the waterline.

Lanie swam in the water,her tail waving softly behind her as her eyes took in everything she could see.She swam up towards the beach,and swam just below the surface,and dived into the air and back down again,doing it quick enough where just her tail was shown.
