Moonbeam trotted through the trees of the valley she had been traveling for a few days now. The day she had left her herd she had had a dream that night. The Horse in the Stars told her it was time for her to leave, that she had a destiny awaiting her. Her mother had also said the same thing. They both told her that they would help along the way, helping her read the signs along the way.
Moonbeam stopped at a stream that wove its way around a few willows. She bent her head and drank deeply.

  • Stormy galloped up a steep hill and whinned when seh reached the top. She liked to call this place "Sun Mountian" because there were no tress and the sun beat down on her black and white pelt.

  • Moonbeam heard a far off whinny. She lifted her head and pricked her ears. She simply shrugged and continued on her way through the valley. "Ok, so if I follow the river a little ways and then cross and head up the mountain I should be able to atleast find a place to bet down by night fall." She whispered to herself, planning everything out with her mother, in the back of her mind, helping her out.

  • Stormy lifted her head and took a look around at the valley that surrounded her little mountian.

  • Stormy begane to graze around in the tall grass on top. The grass was tastless but somehow good in a way.

  • Moon didn't see stormy till she was at the top of the small mountain. She turned away and started going around the unknown mare.

  • Stormy thought she saw the flash of a horse tail but decided against it and went back to grazing keeping her guard up.

  • Moon wasn't watching where she was going and stumbled on a rock, sending rocks rolling and tumbling down the side of the mountain. She fell down in the process and immediately picked herself up.

  • Moonbeam shook the dust out of her mane and tail and winced at the cut on her right hindquarter. She looked up to see the mare running towards her. She's the second of four..... she heard her moms voice. She took a step back, away from the approaching mare.
