She went back to what she had been doing, and when she looked up a few people were giving her weird looks.

one of the girls walked over to her " you got a crush on a Spartan" she whispered " you know the protocol they aren't allowed to love even if they wanted to....." she said

"I do not have a crush." She lied. Her heart broke a little at the relization that even if he did like her back, he couldn't love her.

Cameron was back at his bunk cleaning his rifle as he kept thinking about Ashley

Ashley shook her head. Of course she knew 009 bent the rules. Everyone knew that. But falling in love? That broke the rules, and the punishment for that she didn't want either of then to have to deal with. Nevertheless she couldn't get him off her mind.
