Inside a world of broken colors there,
Stabbed inside a still young eye socket,
Was a single red rose
Even this swaying pain,
Even this dizziness that hides peace
Even this warped despair
You erased them all for me

Virus: *still not moving*
Me: <_< ......should I call 911 now?
"Woah, you okay there Virus?" A familiar voice jolted the young boy back to reality from the state of shock he'd been in since Alec had kissed him. Before him stood a completely sober-looking boy his same age, who seemed to have absolutely no pigmentation in either his hair or his skin. "F-Fridmar?!" Virus managed to stammer with an effort. "What are you doing here?" Fridmar was a very unusual person to find in America, and not just because the tall and slender boy was an albino and had pink eyes that looked very much like rabbits'. Like Virus, he was a foreigner, from Iceland. The two boys had met during the special 'Introduction to America and the English Language' classes that they both took in elementary school that were designed to help them become a part of American life and to become accustomed to the new culture. Despite catching on to American ways very quickly, Fridmar was still rather unsocial and didn't interact much with others. That plus his bizarre appearence didn't really make him a top member of the American teenage society. Virus might even go so far as to say that he and Alec were Fridmar's only real friends.
The albino rolled his pink eyes and said in his soft, accented voice -he'd never really lost his accent even after all his years in America-, "I was supposed to come pick you up at midnight, remember? You said you would probably be drinking and so you needed me to drive you home."
"Oh...yeah." Virus said quietly. Fridmar stared at Virus for a minute before he finally seemed to notice the tears in his eyes (he has delayed reactions for some reason). "What's wrong? Did something happen?" The taller boy asked, crouching down beside the other. Without waiting for a reply, and without asking permission he tilted Virus's chin up and head his head steady while using his sleeve to dry his face. "W-well a lot happened really..." Virus mumbled as he held still while Fridmar checked up on him. He felt a lot more relaxed now that he was with a trusted friend and not someone he was in love with. he still felt uneasy though, and part of him desperately wanted to go find Alec. I need to know whats going on. Dammit Alec, why did you run off like that?!
A moment later he realized that Fridmar had gone still and was staring at him again with his usual neutural expression. "W-what?" Virus asked, more puzzled then annoyed since he was used to the strange and blunt way his friend acted. "It had something to do with Alec, didn't it." Fridmar replied bluntly, not even asking. Virus blushed and stammered, "H-How on earth did you figure that?!"
"I may be slow to react sometimes, but despite that, or maybe even because of that I tend to see more details then others." Fridmar replied with a shrug, as if it was nothing special. Virus let out a sigh and leaned back against the kitchen cabnets; too worn out to try to figure out the strangeness of his friend. A moment later Fridman sat down beside him, his long legs stretched out across the floor. "You don't have to tell me about it." He said, "But I can tell that you are feeling very confused right now. It might be good for you to share with another so you can better sort out the information and find an explanation."
what do you do when you don't know what to have your character do next? Bring in the albino Scandinavian, of course! BD
