[align=center][font=georgia]This is the swimming competition, hosted by Amazonrain [Fawn].
The rules are quite simple. After all, you just post with your character who will be swimming. I'm sure Fawn will be picking the post that contains multiple things such as how well written it is, how creative a read it is, and such things like that.
Your character may either participate in the competition or watch what's happening on the sidelines -- or, if you wish, though you may want permission from Fawn, can help watch out for drowning characters or those who may need help (if this does occur). There will also be two divisions -- Student-aged characters and up and then kitten-aged characters. Males are allowed to participate, but they are not allowed to cause trouble. If you do this with your male character, you will be disqualified from the competition.

Despite the fall season that was just beginning, the world was trying her hardest to hold unto the warm summertime. This seemed to be especially true today, for it was rather warm and not fall-like weather at all. It was truly the perfect time for the swimming contest.
It what been in the very early hours of the morning when Dragonflybeat and a few others had gotten things set up. Near the shore line but far enough away so the prizes and makeshift table wouldn't be swept away sat the trophies and the seat for the judge. There were prizes ranging from an old yet lovely and well preserved hat once worn by a sailor to decorative Hawaiian leis. One of the most interesting things present at the table, however, were the carved coconut-shell trophies. The first place trophies were of a wave and various types of animals that resided within RadicalClan, the second place trophies were similar but without as much detail, and the third place trophies also didn't have as much detail as the first or second place trophies. Needless to say, each one was a beauty and had excellent craftsmanship. They weren't gold or silver or even bronze, but they were certainly a nice gift if you won a spot on the top three. And, if you ended up not caring for the handmade trophy, there were other prizes included in your package.
Now it was only a matter of time. Excited murmurs and cheers were carried on the wind toward the beach, showing how eager these RadicalClanners were to get the contest underway. It seemed like the waves, which were lapping the shore at a steady pace, were rising and falling, hoping to meet the members of the Clan one by one. This was sure to be a wonderful experience for the whole of the Clan.
