As the alcohol washed away, his arm stung less. He let out a sigh I relief.
-
Alex sighed too. He looked over at Jake "Better?"
-
Jake leaned on the counter feeling weak. He shrugged then pulled his scratched arm back.
-
He sighed and shook his head "You need to rest."
-
Jake used his strength to stand himself up right. "I'm fine. Really." He said reassuringly. "All you need to do is worry about yourself."
-
Alex nodded a little, looking at him like a little kid would.
-
Jake took Alex's hand. "I love you." He replied them hugged him. He hoped those weren't his last words.
-
Alex hugged him back "I love you too."
-
Jake kissed Alex's forehead then guided him out of the bathroom. "Do you think we should find a car."
-
He nodded "Yea." He smiled a little.
-
"Who's driving?" He asked.
-
He smiled "Could I drive this time?"
-
He gave a slow nod. "Sure."
-
Alex lead him out of the house "Where should we start?"
-
Jake pointed to a navy blue van a couple hundred yards away. "We can jump start that one."
-
Alex nodded, starting to lead him.
-
Jake followed behind him.
-
After a while they got there and he got in, contecting wires.
-
Jake climbed into the passenger seat.
