    She watched him lean in and started to panic slightly. Suddenly she remembered his words. That they were young and should enjoy life. She bit her lip and closed her eyes, feeling their lips connect lightly. She stayed that way, kissing him lightly before pulling back and blushing. She hugged her notebook and swallowed. "I-I'm sorry." She apologized.

    At first he was afraid she wouldn't kiss him, but when he felt his lips connect with hers he smiled. When they pulled black he had a goofy grin on his face that he just couldn't get rid of, "I um... yea..." he said not really knowing what to say, "Don't apologize," he said after thinking.

    She nodded and looked at the grass. "I...I should really start with my work..." She said quietly, incredibly embarrassed. Her first kiss had been with an indian man she wasn't even supposed go be around. It sent a thrill of shivers down her spine. She stood up and looked at him, repositioning the flower in her hair.

    He chuckled when he saw that she was embarrassed. He thought it was cute how she blushed over a small simple kiss. His eyes traveled down to her forearm and his smile slowly disappeared. He let out a sigh as he stared at the bruises that he caused. It hadn't been the first time he'd hurt someone in a blind rage and he realized that it probably wouldn't be the last. He just wished he never hurt her.

    He took a hold of her hand and stood up, "But you didn't." he said giving her a serious face, "You didn't fall. I hurt you," he said looking anywhere but at her, "And I won't be able to take it back, but if I could, I would." he said softly, "I'm really sorry Crystal."

    She looked at the ground. "But if I told my family you hurt me, they'd kill you and your people." She said quietly, looking towards the tree line again before looking up at him, a faint blush still dusting her cheeks.

    He looked across the meadow to see the sun yet again setting behind the line of trees. He hadn't noticed that the two of them had spent the entire day together. "I guess your right," he said softly. He reached out and took a hold of her wrist. He gently placed his hand over the bruises and said a short little chant in his native tongue.

    "What are you--" she started but shut her mouth when he began chanting. She watched the sun set before looking back at him, assuming he was done. She blinked and cocked her head. "What was that?" She asked quietly, in case he was just taking a small break.

    "It's a small healing chant," he replied letting go of her arm, "Whenever anyone in my village gets hurt someone will read them the healing chant," he explained. "It is supposed to help the wound or in your case, bruise get better quicker." he added. "Do you want to go home?" he asked her as he saw the night starting to near.

    "Honestly I'm not even tired, even though I didn't sleep ay all last night. Are there any rivers you bathe in? I could use a river right about now..." she muttered quietly. "I could go and fetch some clothes at my home before meeting you at the river?" She suggested.

    "Yes, there is one quite close by," he answered. "If I remember correctly there should be a great big oak tree close to where you are, if you spot it just go right and follow the sound of rushing water, then you'll be there," he said, "I'll meet you there," he added

    She nodded and memorized his directions before weaving her way home and sneaking inside. Her family was out front, having a party with the other settlers. She quickly grabbed some new clothing and ran back outside, into the woods and following where he said to go. When she got there, she laid her new clothes on a rock beside the shore and sat down, dangling her legs in the cold water and looking around for Taham.

    He walked through the treeline and got into the clearing of the river, when he spotted Crystal sitting at the edge of the water he walked over to her and sat down next to her, but with his legs cris-crossed. "Do you clean yourself while wearing cover ups?" he asked her not knowing if her people were strange enough to do so.

    She blinked, blushed and shook her head. For the first time it dawned on her that she would have to actually undress to get clean. Or at least as clean as the river could offer. She looked at the river and shook her head. "One of the only times we don't wear clothes in during bathing time..." She explained quietly.

    "Oh." He replied, then it hit him that she would be undressing infront ofhim, "Oooooohhh..." He said awkwardly. "Um.. How about I.. Go wait over there.." He said pointing to a tree. He walked over to the tree and sat against it facing away from Crystal. Even though every male fiber in his body was telling him to sit and enjoy the show

    She smiled slightly at his small embarrassment and stripped off her clothing quickly, diving into the river and swimming to the middle, where it was deepest. She looked over at Taham and smiled. "You can turned around now." She called to him. While the water was clear, she was far enough away and in deep enough water that he wouldn't be able to see anything. Or so she hoped.

    Taham, was wondering whether or not to turn around or just keep facing away, he decided turned around and was glad when he he could only see her head sticking out above the water, "Is the water cold? Or is it a nice temperature?" he called out as a question.

    Crystal spun around in the water happily. "It's a bit cold. I like it that way though." She was quiet for a few minutes before blinking and sinking slightly. "Aren't you going to join me?" She asked, dunking herself under the water and resurfacing, her wet hair catching the moonlight and glowing. He eyes glowed as well and she smiled at Taham.
