    In the black, broken city humans and vampires live together, knowing of their species. Humans discriminate against the blood-suckers, knowing what could happen to them. The humans are protected by the ruler, Purity Rose's military who execute all vampires and half-bloods if they attack or provoke a human, no buts. However, what the military doesn't know, is that they have a full, adult vampire as their Major, the head of the military. Iris Kane, or Major Kane was bitten at the age of 25 and lived through the constant wars and bombing of the city, she had ranked up in the military. She is the only Vampire in the military. The city of Haze is a barren wasteland of garbage and broken down/destroyed buildings. All are given jobs as Workboots, The Perfects, and the Government. The Government workers live in the City of Purity, over the great wall that separates it and the City of Haze. Anyone trying to get to the City of Purity that is from the City of Haze, will be killed on scene

    History: Iris was bitten when she was 25, a man mugged her. She fought back and lost, being bitten and left to die, bleeding out. Luckily a different Vampire picked her up and helped her and is now part of the Military. She managed to sneak her way into the military, unknown as a full vampire. (Low muse bad history XD)

    Um Ill accept it but just so you know, other vampires can scent he is a vampire and naturally recognize them, so my charrie will know, but wont acknowledge it

    Okay, I don't mind if other vampire's know what he is, his main goal is just to get past the humans.

    Personality: Leah is usually calm, and shes quite the tough one. She is independent, and doesn't really like to rely on others. She acts quite cold to others, but its not always because she despises that person. Its usually because its easier to not make any connections with any people. She finds it easier and safer to not confide in anyone, even if it becomes lonely. Leah never backs down or gives up easily, especially in a fight. She can sometimes snap a bit too easily at people, and when that happens her scowl gives it away. But inside, Leah is kind and determined. Once she learns how to trust people, she will be willing to risk her life for those she cares about.

    History: Leah ran away after she found out that her father was right about to sell her away to vampires for money. Her father often got angry, and he would yell and beat Leah and her mother. Tired of everything, she ran away. Her mother, devastated, also managed to run away but was separated from Leah.
    She has a black knife/dagger that she carries around. She stole it from her father when she ran away, who was previously a tracker as well.
