  • He looked at the pile of food. There were a couple of sweet roll snack cakes. "You should try one of these." he said taking one for himself. "They are pretty good."

  • He smiled lightly, happy to see a smile lightly spread across her face. He finished his cake in a few bites...savoring the sweet yet buttery taste.

  • "Everyone has a place." he replied. "You just have to find it." He smiled before looking off to the cave entrance. "And I'll help you find that place...no matter how long it takes." He then blushed when he realized he said that last sentence aloud.

  • He just blushed and hid his face. He felt so embarrassed. Here was this powerful Pokemon before him that could easily kill him with just a glance and here he was talking to her like she was some common human. He even felt a little scared.

  • He stepped outside and took a deep breath of the fresh evening air. He needed this before he made a fool of himself in front of someone so powerful. "What am I talking about...I already have....on several occasions." he said lightly to himself.

  • After a few moments, he reentered the cave and saw that she was sleeping. He pulled a blanket from his pack and gently covered her with it before he retreated to the fire where he kept watch while she slept peacefully.

  • He noticed her trembling and slowly slid over next to her. Hoping he wasn't about to cross a boundary and make a big mistake, he gently placed his arm around her in an attempt to help her feel better.

  • He was surprised by her reaction. Finally, he wrapped his arms around her in a hug and held her in a comforting embrace.
