  • Eagle let out a growl of happiness, touching his ear against his mate's belly. "Oh, they sound beautiful!" He barked, nuzzling his nose into Icess's chest. "They sound lively!" The brute helped his mate off the bed. "Shasta and you are expecting!" He exclaimed, "So you can spend more time together!" The thought of his mate away from him and here made his heart sink. "But you won't be with me." He mumbled but shook the words away. He playfully growled, bending to nibble his mate's ear.

  • "Haha, I doubt I could stand being away from you." I nuzzled his cheek. I felt the pups pounding against my stomach and whimpered. "I think there's more than four..." I whispered thoughtfully. But what I didn't know is that there were eight. I yawned, licking my ebony kissed lips hungrily.

  • Eagle tilted his head. "I'm getting you a snow-hare." He barked slowly. Without waiting for a reply, the larger brute raced out of the room, sliding on the slick wood beneath his paws. He raced down the stairs, turning the curbs on them. He leaped the last three steps and slipped into the kitchen. He quickly grabbed a snow-hare from the counter, plump and large one. He hesitated then grabbed himself a plump and larger snow-hare. Pounding up the steps, he returned to Icess in their room. He leaped beside her on the bed and nudged the smaller rabbit to her. "Luckily the blanket is red." He joked.

  • (Timeskip to when Shasta and Icess has their pups! Icess can have hers first, if you'd like.)

Shasta felt a sharp pain in her belly but ignored it. It was probably hunger. The femme heaved herself to her paws and padded reluctantly down the stairs and to the kitchen, jumping up on the counter. She sighed with relief at the large snow-hare before her eyes, freshly caught and scooped it up. She turned and padded to the table, jumping onto the chair. She began eating.

Hexe tilted his head at Red, feeling ignored. "So? Do you wanna go to the lake with me or not?" He barked gently but impatiently, his tail flicking. The brute sat down beside her. He flicked his black tail, growling in frusteration.

Eagle woke up and gently nudged Icess. "Good morning, love." He barked gently, licking her ears, "It's time to wake up. It's time to eat." The large husky sat beside his mate. His tail thumped the bed loudly beside her ears, trying to wake her. He stopped it's thumping and plopped back down beside her. He would let her rest. He knew she was expecting, so he didn't dare get her grumpy. He turned and curled around her, trying to warm the femme.

  • Red had just heard Hexe and jumped in surprise. "Sorry, I was kind in a dream world," Red said realized he had been there for some time," Yes I would love to". Red was of course embarrassed and wanted to restart the day, but of course it was not possible.

  • Hexe dipped his head. "I suppose I was the one being a bit annoying," he admitted. He got up and tipped his head to one side. "Short cut or the forest, the longer route?" He asked, hopeing she'd pick the forest. For more time for them to spend, of course together.

  • Red thought for a moment. "Lets go thru the forest. I like to go thru there," Red said and wagged her tail seeing that hey would be spending more time together.

  • Hexe smiled. "Alright. Let's go." He barked. The large brute got to his paws and padded toward the snow sparkling forest. He ducked under a small swooping, snow speckled pine. The red husky barked happily, pouncing around in the snow.

  • Red bounded after him feeling as if they were in there own wonderland. She was trying to keeping up with Hexe, but fairly that wasn't really working out. "So what do you want to talk about," Red asked behind him.

  • Hexe hesitated before replying, "Anything you want." The brute barked. He quickened his pace to a dash, speeding far ahead from Red. He barked happily, pouncing around infront of her in the snow. He flicked snow at her snout, smirking playfully. He bounced at her paws once in the playful position before dashing under a branch, crouching and ready, a smile playing his lips.

  • Red shook the snow from her muzzle. "You shouldn't of done that," Red said and ran towards Hexe. She smiled and jumped trying to get to him faster thru the snow. Instead she fell head first into the snow.

  • [sorry for being so inactive!]

Degas awoke with a start. Rolling over, the fluffy mix shook himself and jumped down, trotting down the stairs towards the kitchen. Smiling quietly as he watched Shasta, he once again wondered just how he had gotten so lucky. "Good morning, love," He told her as he jumped onto a chair.

Cora trotted into the kitchen, smiling at Shasta and Degas. "Shasta, try to keep the activity to a low today. You're almost due, so I don't want anything to happen to you - or the babies. And please tell everyone to be careful; with you and Icess almost due, well, I've got my paws full."

Zepellin stood up from where he had been napping, shaking snow off his short coat. The blue-eyed male was utterly bored; Cora was always bouncing between Icess and Shasta, Degas was always with Shasta, and no one would play with him! Glancing around, Zepellin tried to figure out who would play with him; Aurora maybe, but she was a bit on the shy side. Felicity, but she was so sweet, it was actually just a bit annoying. Maybe Steele would play with him! Grinning, Zepellin looked around for the pretty husky.

  • Shasta smiled. "Sorry, Cora. These pups might come today. Icess said she's been having pains this morning, also." She licked her mate's ear. "Good morning. How'd you sleep?" She barked, changing the subject.

Eagle curled around his mate. He sighed inwardly, feeling the pups wriggled. He felt Icess's wince and woke her steadily. "Love, I think the pups are coming. Do you feel a lot of pain?" He barked gently, nudging his snout under her head and lifting it.

Steele sighed. She shifted in her bed, rolling over. She got to her paws, her paw touching Hexe's wet fur. She rolled her eyes. "Why'd you have to go swimming?" She hissed in his ear. Rolling her eyes, the large femme leaped from the bed.
Steele scampered out of the room, sliding along the slick wood flooring. She skidded down the stairs, landing on her side. "OOF!" She yelped, staggering to her paws. She shook her ruffled pelt and dashed toward the kitchen. "Northern Spirits, am I hungry!" She growled, jumping up onto the counter. She prodded through the mixture of chicken and turkey, finding the perfect turkey leg.
Steele leaped from the counter with the fat turkey leg in her jaws. The large female jumped onto a chair next to Degas and began to eat. Her ear twitched in annoyance at a fly buzzing around her ear and it stopped twitching when the fly had left.

Hexe watched his sister leave. "I better get up too." He whispered and staggered to his paws. He jumped down from the bed and onto the warm red carpet. He streached his muscles, padding forward when he leaned towards the wall. He pulled his neck back to prevent from hitting his snout on the wall. The large brute trotted out of the room, keeping a firm grip on the slick wood flooring as he padded down the stairs. He landed lightly on his paws and padded to the counter, reaching his jaws over a cuboard handle. He searched the cuboard for a vole and finally found a nice limp, juicy, plump vole.
Hexe grabbed the large vole and headed for the table. He jumped up, beginning to eat his vole. He gulped it down quickly and threw the remains in a trash can. The large brute then padded outside and sat beside the fire, feeling warmth on his damp fur.

  • Degas smiled at Cora's exasperated look as the pretty she-dog padded out of the room, asking someone if they knew where Icess was. Turning towards Shasta, the mix's tail wagged. "Fine, how are you feeling?" He asked, tilting his head. "G'morning Steele," He greeted the other husky. Turning back towards his mate, he kept a careful eye on her.

Cora gave the alphaess a exasperated look and headed out of the kitchen, passing Hexe and Steele as they entered. "Does anyone know where Icess is? I need to check on her," She called, stretching up on tiptoes to look around.

  • Hexe looked at Cora. "She's in her room with Eagle." He barked. He turned back to the fire, sighing in satisfaction. The large husky leaped onto a lounge chair, laying down face to the fire. He closed his eyes and rested his head on his paws, feeling warmth.

Steele nodded. "She is." She agreed. She turned back to her food and kept eating.

Shasta's tail thumped the chair. "I feel great, love." She barked softly, "How 'bout you?" She added, feeling her heart thump.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent bordercolor=transparent; height: 1; overflow: auto; width: 350px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 7pt; color: black; letter-spacing: 0px; text-transform:]Nodding her thanks, Cora quickly climbed the stairs until she reached the betas room. "Icess, Eagle? Can I come in?" She asked, waiting patiently for their answer.

Degas shrugged. "Worried about you, but physically I'm fine," He told her with another shrug. He couldn't wait for their children to be born, but he was mainly worried about Shasta's health.

  • Shasta smiled. "Thats good." She barked softly and threw her remains of turkey away. She sighed. "I'm going back to bed. I'm tired." She nuzzled her mate's snout and waddled off, her wide belly keeping her pace slow. She climbed up the stairs, panting when she reached the top. Shasta hauled herself to her room and staggered onto the red bed. She flopped down gently, tucking her snout under her tail and falling asleep.

Eagle nodded. "Come in, Cora. I think Icess is having her pups..." He barked softly. He pressed his paw to his mate's white flank. Whimpering in fright, the large brute flicked back his ears.

OOC- Idk whether Cara is rping Icess anymore, so I might have someone roleplay her characters while she's inactive..
