she looked at the door when it closed. she sighed and sat on the floor against a wall

There was a purple blanket in the corner

she looked at the blanket. she shook her head and never touched it

Something started moving under the blanket and out popped a kitten. It mewed and carefully approached her

she watched the kitten nervously. "what are you doing here?" she whispered so Sydney didn't hear

It mewed quitly as if it understood her. The kitten rubbed up against her hand

she cautiously petted the small head

The kitten ran to theblanket trying to nose it to her

The kitten made a happy surprised noise

she smiled. "I need to get you a good home."

she smiled and pet the kittens back

"your lucky. you don't see the same ending as me." she said to the kitten

The kitten ran to where the blanket was and mewed

The kitten picked up and carried a collar to her
