Sharptalon watched with dark eyes as the sun was swallowed by the land. He stretched his wings and waited for the last of the light to go before taking flight. He landed at the topmost branch of the Main Hollow and called out a small hoo, calling out to his mate. The night had begun, and so had the lives of owls.

Snowtalon shifted in her nest. It was empty and cold without her mate. Walking up slowly, she found her way out of her nest and into the branches of the large tree the Main Hollow lived in. The setting su drew her attention and she glided over beside Sharptalon.

Eaglefighter looked up at the two Talons. He unfolded his wings and the warrior dove straight down towards the miss river his rare black feathers concealing him completely in the night.

"I'm going to see if prey is sleeping yet in the forest," Snowtalon cooed to Sharptalon.

Sharptalon nodded, "I'll come along, I could go for a fly." He spread his wings, ready to follow his mate.

A smile crossed her face as she stretched open her wings and dived. Swerving her way inbetween the branches. making her way to the forest.

Sharptalon gave a loud "Hoot," to the others, signaling that it was time for the hollow to come alive. He then followed Snowtalon and raced alongside her, weaving between the greenery of the forest.

sagewind yawned and looked around her nest as she woke up

Moonbeak awoke at the sound of Sharptalons hoot. She stretched her wings and then shook her bluey grey feathers to wake up fully.

Moonbeak hopped out and scanned her surround ings for her mentor, eagle fighter. "He must be hunting" she mused. Suddenly, she dived off her branch, falling as swift as an arrow, and swooped at the lastmoment to clasp an unwary mouse searching for food at the bottom of the trunk. The mouse was squealing in her talons, but moonbeak ignored it and flapped to get higher up and back to the tree, but then she ran headlong into a large branch, which made her drop the mouse. Not believing its luck, the mouse scurried into the undergrowth.

ic: Sharptalon, as he was flying through the forestry, noticed Moonbeak. He nodded his head slightly at Snowtalon and then dived down to the beak. He landed on the branch next to her carefully and said, "I don't think we're supposed to catch trees."

Eaglefighter flew into the hollow just in time to hear Moonbeak curse and see the mouse scurrying away. Eaglefighter flew up beside her as silent as ever and said "Well maybe you should pay more attention young owl." Eaglefighter smiled at her.

Moonbeak shook her head fervently to take away the impact.
then she looked at her elders sheepishly. " Sorry , the mouse was wriggling and I wasn't concentrating i guess" She looked down at her talons. -
Sharptalon nodded, "Well, try to focus more.. we eat meat, not greens." He smiled and took off again, following Snowtalon's trail.

sagewind hopped to the young owl. "It is ok young one you will get it someday." she said and flew to the healing hollow

Glad to be out of the scrutiny of the older owls, Moonbeak turned to Eaglefighter. " So.. What are we doing today?
