    The torbie kit, who was almost an apprentice, was set on training until she got a real mentor. She couldn't wait to be Secretpaw! Then she'd have more freedom. So here she was, crouches in a battle stand in front of a small cactus. She had pulled all the spines off and was about to attack it. With a blur of brown and orange, she was on the cactus and sinking her claws into it. She jumped off and rolled, reaching out a paw and scraping the side of it with her claws.
