    Kaori glanced at her sister who was standing at her side, then to their parents who had just told them they were to be sent off to be married. Gently placing her hand to the back of her neck where her tattoo lay hidden by her hair she frowned, she had always been one who had remained silent, simply standing by and listening but she was done. She shook her head and took a step back, looking to her sister once more before making up again "No! I refuse! I will not get married." She said firmly, their parents looked shocked, their silent child had just outspoken?! Their father rose to his feet and just this simple motion sent the daughter running, she rushed past the two guards who where in the room at the time and down the large flight of stairs until she reached the doors, forcing them open she left quickly. Their father turned to the two guards in the room "One of you go get her!" He yelled, his voice loud and booming before he looked to his other daughter as if daring her to run as well.


    Gin had been completely zoned out, when Kaori ran by was when he snapped out of it, he looked to the other guy across from him as if to ask what had happened when the king ordered one of them to get her, he figured it would be best for the other man to go since he knew why and could explain it if the princess questioned him.

    Hariel listened to her parents, her mouth clamped shut. Usually she would have picken a fight, yelled, and started a rebellion. Hariel was the rebellious, outspoken child no one wanted to have. She disobeyed her parents very often but always put up a fight. But no she couldn't even mumble the words, unlike her sister who began yelling and took off running upstairs to the wings. Hariel didn't need to think she just followed her sister's lead. As her parents yelled for them to come back and guards to catch them. "Never!!!" She yelled, in the village she was known as Ariel. Not only for her beautiful voice but how she's uses it like a lion. Roaring at those who she opposes. She quickly turned a corner once she had reached the halls. Using one of the old stairs cases she disappeared into a secret room, that was used in yhe older days of the palace. She went over to a trunk she had placed in here, for when she ran way to the village, and got out her normal clothes she kept and money.



    I'm so sorry I have to get in bed and do you mind if my guy is the son of the captain of the guard so he'll be placed on this quest to prove his worth but falls in love with the princess(are you playing the one I fall in love with or the one your princess falls in love with?)

    Slipping into her room she went under her bed, pulling out normal clothes she changed in record time and instead of going out into the halls were she might have been caught she slipped into the large bathroom in there one of the tiles on the floor was pulled up. She dropped down to the lower level of the castle and rushed to the window, hopping out. Unlike Hariel she didn't have money. Kaori began to look around hoping she could find her braver sister but when she felt an itching sensation at her neck she hurried off towards the village.


    Gin took one look at the king and he rushed out after Hariel. Not being raised in the castle he didn't know the secret rooms and passages so when she turned the corner she lost him.

    Ok and what did you look up to get your mark?


    Hariel looked around for guards before she slipped out into the hallway and went toward the old stair case that hardly anyone used. It was meant to be protection, it went from the dungeons to the highest point of the palace . Each door locked so if someone was trying to escape they could lock the doors to run to safety.

    Gin let out a growl of frustration, how could she have slipped away so easily?! He noticed Kaori running towards the village and knew Demitri would find her, hoping Hariel would go out too he ran down several flights of steps to outside.

    "I never signed up!" She ran faster and into the village



    "This is your time to prove your worth and ranking. Those princesses are smart and tricky. This won't be a easy task but you will be honored as a hero. Do you accept this quest?"
    "Yes"
    "Good now go Dimitri Nights and complete your quest"
    Dimitri nodded before mounting a white stallion and riding off with a bay at its side

    "You don't have an option Princess!" He snapped, hurrying knowing if he wasn't fast he could lose her in the crowds.


    Kaori pulled her hair up into a pony tail, her light purple eyes looking around, she had never been allowed into the village before and it was so.....different? Yes different sounds good. She walked along the side of the street, getting some strange looks from people as she walked

    She turned, stuck her tongue out at him and mixed into the crowd.


    Dimitri rode into the village yelling "Make way for the royal knights!!" He almost tramped many people but didn't care, only focusing on the task at hand

    "Shit." He hissed and hurried after her, growing up on the streets he knew them inside and out and knew how easy it was to lose someone.


    Kaori could hear the sound of hooves and knew that it was the knights. Her heart dropped but she turned and slipped into a dark alley. As she stood there was a sudden burning sensation at her neck making her yelp. She had never had to feel it before since she always listened. Tears sprung to her eyes as she crumbled to her knees in pain. The only people who knew of the curse was their parents and each other.

    When she got to a bunch of flat roof tops Ariel climbed up to them. Just as she steadied herself she felt this burning sensation on her lower back and she crumbled to the roof. She couldn't move, just moan in agony of the pain, although she had felt a few times before being the rebellious child, it never felt this bad.


    Dimitri looked for the princesses when he saw a young girl in a alley way in pain. He rushed over to see what was going on

    Kaori saw him coming into the alley and squeezed her eyes shut knowing one look at her eyes and he would know it was her since her and her mother were the only women in the kingdom with purple-blue eyes where as her sister got their fathers green. "Go away!" She said harshly, her voice was strangled and sounded nothing like herself as she gripped her neck tightly, her mouth opened and it was obvious she was trying to scream but no noise came out.


    Gin barely caught a glimpse of her silver hair as she crumbled onto the roof though he didn't know she was in pain. Taking the chance he searched the alleys before finding the ladder she had gone up and climbed up, three at a time and noticed her on the ground "Princess!" He gasped with worry and ran to her side, dropping to his knees he placed his hand to her shoulder "Princess what's wrong?!" He asked

    She couldn't say anything but mumbled the silbols that sounded like "Take me to the Cavarn"


    Dimitri quickly scooped her up and wrapped his cape around her deciding where to go. He remembered this place called the Cavern that took care of people on the outskirts of the village. Mounting his horse, he left the bay horse for a soldier who passes by, and rode off toward the outskirts of the town

    She slowly opened up her eyes when she felt something wrap around her, she had often seen this boy when the other knights trained but she didn't know his name. She felt as if the pain was starting to ebb away and she was about to tell him to put her down when it hit again, this time a bit more intense forcing tears to her eyes. She trusted him so she didn't question him as she whimpered in pain.


    Picking her up quickly, and with the help of others he got off the roof and ran so glad she hadn't been in the center of the village. As he ran he looked down at her with worry.

    She breathed heavily and whimpered in pain as she was moved as the pain started to go away she waited for it to come back. It struck her stronger and she let out a terrible sound you couldn't really call a scream, shriek, cry or moan.


    Dimitri grew with worry and pushed the horse to go faster. Soon he reached a run down place that he was hoping someone knew the directions. He knocked on the door and a woman's eyes peeped through the slot
    "Go away" she grumbled with an angry voice.
    "Please. This girl needs help and Im trying to fun the Cavern" he begged. The woman closed the slot before opening the door.
    "Place her on that cot over there" she instructed and he did so.

    Gin forced himself to push harder, he had been to the cavern before so he knew where he was going. When he reached the house cabin thing he knocked roughly.


    His voice....it was so familiar....Dimitri, she had heard other knights talk to him before. Her hand released her neck and grabbed his wrist "Dimitri, don't leave, please." She whimpered, her eyes still shut glad he hadn't seen them when she opened then.

    The woman looked out the slot after placing a cloth on Kaori's head
    "What do you want?!"she spat angrily


    Dimitri was surprised that she knew his name but gained composire"What's your name?"
