The adventures and training of Bearpaw

FrozenHeart stepped out of some bushes. "Yes I'm here."

"We could start on hunting skills first scence there isn't going to be a battle any time soon and the clan needs food."

"Be quiet or you'll scare all the prey down their holes!"

FrozenHeart sighed. "Remember that a mouse will scence you before it can smell you and that a rabbit will smell you before it feels you."

Fishleap appeared out of the undergrowth. "A fish will feel your shadow before your paw hits he water" he mewed through the two rabbits he held in his jaws. "Don't forget to teach him the boundaries" he muttered.

Come on Bearpaw I'm going to show you the boundarie lines and if we have time left we will start hunting practice.

Fishleap flicked his tail. "Mind if I tag along? I'm going to check on the monsters by the thunderpath" he mewed quickly.

FrozenHeart shrugged. "I don't mind if you do." Talking to Fishleap quietly so Bearpaw doesn't hear. "Bearpaw can be a paw fill sometimes."

Fishleap purred. "Nothing like your first apprentice, eh?" He purred warmly. "If you want, I'll show him how to hunt if you show him the territory? Then you can have a break from training AND the gathering last night" he mewed, with a hint of amusement in his tone.

Fishleap's eyes grew wide, pouncing on the vole before it could alert the whole forest. "Bearpaw!" He hissed, quietly.

"Come on Bearpaw, let's go hunting before sun down." He walked off into the bushes and stopped near the ancient rock.

FrozenHeart stopped in his tracks. He heard a loud angry hiss from behind him. Then a thump as Bearpaw and Shimmerpaw rammed into each other.
