You can't do anything about it either, she reminded herself, sitting down. "Would you like me to go fetch one of the medicine cats?" The queen offered, her tone returning to normal.

    Ivypaw gave the kit a small lick between the ears, and looked up at Sunfur. "Maybe in a few minutes."

    Folding her ears back at the sight of the kit, Scorchngkit, still stuck as a fawn, aimed to place her muzzle into the kit's fur and take away some of her pain.

    SilentPaw's curiosity had led her towards the small wad of cats. "What's going on?" She asked, flicking her tail behind her as she patiently waited for an answer. She looked down at the kit that had collapsed. There was so many injured and abandoned kits these days. SilentPaw couldn't complain, she was one herself. Didn't any mother care for her kits?
