Beauregard was the last one out of the class room, a notebook clenched tightly in his jaws. He had been taking plenty of notes from the last few lessons. The reason for this was because of his failed test last year. He would have been ahead a year, but he failed one section worth most of the grade. After that, he had spent the whole summer studying and preparing for school. Ponies began calling him a nerd everywhere he went. All that name calling just drove the young colt farther into studies.
He found himself a nice spot to sit and read through the jolted down notes. Once he found a comfortable spot, he began flipping through each piece of paper, silently mouthing each word.
