ƱOmegaƱ

The gigantic gray form of Omega padded up to the border of the bloodclan territory . Omega had been searching for a home for a long time. He had followed the black ribbon of a road inland, away from the city. The city was too much for him. The things that he had lived there, the memories he had kept had overflowed and know he wanted only to get as far away from it as possible. The black Asphalt was white hot and it seared the paw pads of the big cat. By chance, the fur of Omega reflected the sun, so he felt quite good in this environment. The experiences that they had done on him had been helpful in that way. The products of modern science had enhanced his capabilities and his sensitivity. The only thing that would actually betray him as a lab rat would have been his red eye that clashed with the blue one. That and his glowing claws (but it was still day for now) Omega had walked his merry way, stopping only to eat and sleep. He had continued to move upwards with the road until the environment around him had change to a bleak desert. Around him, was only a mix of yellow and red sand. Here and there, giant structures, rock formations sprung up from the ground as if a mad architect had decided to erect his greatest works of art here. Around him, only the insects made noises. Here and there a few bleached bones stuck out of the sand, vestiges of life a life long gone. He had stopped in front of a pile of corpses that created a frontier with the road. The corpses seemed not to be roadkills so this intrigued him. The air was filled with the stench of old and newly spilled blood. The rocky desert up ahead was bordered with bodies. Their fur was falling out. The blood had coagulated in thick black clumps at the lips of the wounds, adding a grotesqueness to the bloated corpses. Flies and maggots wove in and out of the holes where the eyes had been. The most old corpses where now no more then dried up mummies that rustled in the wind like grim leaves. The sun was heading down towards the horizon.Yet the sunlight was so strong that Omega had to sometimes shut his eyes to avoid the full blast of the glaring sun.
Omega interestedly pocked a corpse. A cloud of flies escaped from the body and crowded around Omega like a haze. Without any emotion , Omega approached a freshly killed body and bit into it. Even tho the meat was a bit dry, there was still a lot to eat. So the gray cat ate a bit. Then he kicked a bit of dirt on the body of his fellow feline . This was a desert. He absolutely could not afford to waste good food and besides, he had not eaten for a few days now. Omega put a paw over the corpses, then another and then he leaped over the bodies with a nimble jump. He landed in the dust on the other side. The flies that were hovering around him flew away immediately as he had disturbed the red yellow tinged sand and raised a small cloud of dust. The particles hung for a few moments then the dry wind of the desert carried them away. Omega looked around and spotted something that was quite interesting: a metal box. He had a mistrust of human objects because of his past. But this one shone brightly in the desert air. What exactly was it? It was pretty enough at least from the cats view. It looked like a tiny chest. The giant grayish cat flicked it open with a sharp claw. A small melody escaped the box. Omega was like transfixed. Such a beautiful melody... Who had brought the chest here? Who had it belonged to? What was it's purpose? Omega sat down slowly to listen to the small melody. He waited for a few minutes until it stopped. When it finally stopped, the gray cat watched for another few minutes silently before slowly, but securely rewinding it. A voice interrupted what he was doing:
