  • The skies grew dark over the Saint Lobelles Church, and the humans inside moved quickly to get to their stations. On the east-bound tower stood Mary, her long pink hair tied back in a bun to the back of her head, and her sniper rifle aimed down upon the open moorland. On the north-bound tower stood Dead, her velvet eyes calm as she prepared for an attack to any zombies that may come from the forest.

  • Lore;; Lore walked next to Karin, holding her hand briefly. "Let's get to work, babe." He said, letting her hand go to give her a hug. Then he turned and jogged to his station, on the direct opposite side of the church as Karin's.

Karin;; Karin sighed, "Be safe. I love you!" and went to start re-barricading the windows on her side. She made sure to stay quiet, to keep the zombies' attention off their church.

  • Chase sat near base camp, grasped in her fingers a small shot gun. She amused herself by pretending to shoot imaginary zombies. The wind blew her red hair in her face, she sighed before flicking it out of her eyes. She cocked her gun as leaves started to rustle in the distance.

Kiyo froze as the sound of a gun cocking resounded through the forest. He sighed "It's Kiyo, hold your fire!" He hushed as he stepped out of the bushes.

  • Aviette was within the kitchen, her green eyes watching closer than a hawk's as she surveyed the workers. Her back was leaned against the cold, stone wall, and her hair was also tied back in a bun. Though seemingly a talkative young survivor, she was actually one of those silent and strong types, never appearing to get along with anyone but Mary, her best friend and pretend sister.

When doing her duties, Mary is actually quite serious. Which is frankly quite impossible to see without actually watching her at work. Perched at the top of the tower with her gun still positioned and ready to fire, the pink-haired teenager let her thoughts well back to when she and Aviette were sitting down in class, gossiping about a guy she had a crush on. Though now he was dead and worthless things like love weren't going to get in any of their ways.

Dead- as expected from her character- said and did nothing during the short period of time. Her gaze was focused on the horizon, but nothing came.

Veil moved quietly through the church, holding a few planks over one of his shoulders as he made his way to the broken glass window. It was tough trying to keep all advantage points secure, but nonetheless he got off his *ss and did something about it. Figures being an athletic agent all his life would actually pay off.

  • Chase sighed with relief before knocking on the church door. "Is my watch shift almost over?!" She whispered loudly leaning against the door.

Kiyo sighed "Just be patient..." He told her resting his hand on her shoulder.

  • Veil heard the knock and crossed over to the door, opening it for them. "After I'm done fixing the window, I'll ask Aviette if I could take up your job. You've been working as hard as I have lately, so it would be good for you to take a break." He offered kindly.

  • Chase put her hand in a fist jumping into the air. "Thanks Veil!" She shouted happily.

Kiyo gritted his teeth. "Shut up.." He muttered quietly.

  • "You're welcome." The black-haired worker said, dipping his head to them before carrying the planks over to the shattered glass window. He soon got to work on the opening.

Aviette pondered for a moment before leaving the kitchen and passing the two, her swords swinging in their sheathes as she walked by. She soon entered her private room (bedchambers to be clear) and closed the door behind her, propping her blades against the wall and falling back on the bed, exhausted now that her shift was over.

Dead's eyes flashed coldly in the moonlight as a spot of movement flickered out of the corner of her eye. Adjusting the silencer on her sniper, she immediately shot at the figure, only to be embarrassed by the limp pigeon that fell to the ground at the treeline. I need to relax a bit. There are more guards here that can watch over, and I think my tiredness is getting a hold of me.

  • Mary glanced at Dead before pulling a nutrient bar out of her pocket and chucking it over to her.

She almost automatically grabbed the bar from the air and looked to Mary with a gleam of appreciation in her eyes before unwrapping it and eating it.

  • Lore;; Lore looked over at the others and smiled slightly, happy that this could all be possible in the disasterous times they lived in. He then frowned again, concentrating on renewing the shot point at the window. The last board he placed was the resting spot so that someone could prop themselves up on their elbows to shoot out the window without taking the risk of being bitten.

Karin;; Karin looked over at Lore, beads of sweat forming on her hairline, heaving three long wood boards over her shoulder to bring back to the broken windows.

  • James looked around the streets trying to find any supplies

Wyndsor was sitting around her radio trying to make it work

  • Chase scolded Kiyo before skipping off happily, her footsteps echoing in the silent room. She abrubtly stopped before stifling a large yawn. She continued walking heading towards a spiriting set of stairs.

Kiyo rolled his eyes as he sat down and continued guarding.

  • Nova walked towards a gas station and tried to bust in,but the doors were locked...and keyboards can't break windows

Wyndsor fixed it and tried to find a station she liked

  • Lore;; Lore finished his side of the windows and stood up, cracking his ridged back before fixing his hat and turning. Flicking his light gray hair, he made his way to Karin and helped her.

Karin;; Karin smiled at her boyfriend and kissed his cheek before looking out the window. Her dark brown bangs hung over one of her eyes, and jumped when Lore moved it. "I like seeing your eyes." He said to her grinning.

  • Lore;; Lore smiled at Karin as they worked on the rest of the windows of the church. His hat started to slide down his face, so he went to fix it and turned it sideways.

Karin;; Karin peered out of the opening in the windows and bit her lip. There are so many zombies! I wish they'd just all die out... She thought as they finished the last window.

  • Nova climbed onto the roof and slid down a hole in the roof,as he looked around he noticed most of the food was stolen,he took the things that weren't stolen.

Wyndsor looked out her window and stared at a building

[size=10][sup]"Fuckin' drive, will you?!" The powerful voice of Connor rang out from the passenger side of the Lancer, powerful engine revving as it forced hundreds of horsepower onto the blood-stained streets. Pistol in hand, the hazel-eyed male leaned out the window and took three shots, only one hitting the desired target, one of the infected. But it was hard enough to shoot while moving, and let alone this fast: it only died when the Mitsubishi hit it at close to a hundred miles an hour, the vile beast leaving a trail of blood for close to a hundred feet as the silver car kept going, the driver in a state of panic as he skidded around corners, desperate to elude the chaos.

Across the body-strewn city, Kodi sat calmly on a rooftop, violin in hand, hair fluttering in the breeze. She wasn't oblivious to the plight of the people below, she honestly just... didn't care, really. Withdrawing her bow, green eyes shimmering as she gazed the streets below. Nimble fingers placing themselves along the neck of the violin, other hand on her bow, she softly drew the horse-hair string across the metallic strings, her gentle song resounding through the dusk air, breathing life into the lifeless night.

  • Lore;; Lore heard a car's engine roaring in the distance and furrowed his brow. "Wonder who that might be..." He growled under his breath.

Karin;; Karin stood up and helped Lore up. She took his hand and led him to her room, grabbed her white wolf hat with paws and put it on him after taking his hat and putting it on herself. Giggling, she ran off, knowing he'd chase her.
