    I don’t know how this you came to be washed up on Tidalclan’s island, but you're really interesting, and it came with this thing that writes in you, too. I’m pretty sure you're called a notebook and the thing that came with it is called a pen. The pen’s a bit runny, and the ink goes everywhere sometimes, so please ignore the mess. I’m pretty sure it just got a bit too wet.




    Anyways, I suppose I should tell you about my life. I’m Grasskit, and I’m not sure about my age, really, but I hope it’s almost six moons! That’s when I’ll be an apprentice, and be able to do way more exciting things!




    My mom’s name is Inkstar. She’s a great mom, but I don’t see her that often. I think she’s just really busy with leader stuff. My dad’s name is Fulltilt. If there’s one thing I can say about him, he’s amazingly smart. He helped me find out what one of the feathers in my feather collection was (it was a hawk feather).




    My siblings are called Dustkit, Candelakit, Fairykit, Satoshikit, and Coralkit. They’re all the best siblings in the world! I couldn’t imagine ones that were any better (well, I could, possibly, but no cat’s perfect).




    Recently Twixkit decided I had to not collect feathers all the time, so she spent a long time talking (no, it seemed more like lecturing, if I think about it) me about how to groom my fur and everything. Well, I don’t really want to admit it, but I have been cleaning myself a bit more often than before, once every two days or so instead of once every half week or something like that.




    But I’m running out of room on the page. Should I name you? I think, if you wouldn’t mind, that I’ll call you Quill. Quill has to do with feathers, and feathers are great!

    This might be a bit faster than last time, but I might get caught writing this or something and then you'd get taken away right after I found you.




    Last night was fine - there were a bunch of fireflies out. Luminescentpaw - I think that was her name, at least, but it's really long, kind of like Satoshikit's - told me what they were.




    But today was all wrong! There were some cats called the Blackheart Rouges, and they attacked the camp, and they took me away. I feel really lucky I had you with me at the time. What am I going to do? All my friends are back in Tidalclan.




    Please help if you can, Quill, or get some cat to come rescue me! I want to get back to home!
