    Welcome, I am firefall48! I am writing a book based on a group of people being stranded in the Everglades. They were stranded from a plane crash and separated by miles. Two people a girl and a boy have been stranded by a gator breeding ground, two girls were stranded on a small bird infested island surrounded by snakes, and two boys are stranded in a tree surrounded by panthers. Choose wich one you are and jump in! I will be writing the book in perspective of each character so be real, thanks! Firefall48.

    Oh and btw you can befriend one animal a group, I will be the girl with the boy stranded in gator breeding grounds. She has blonde hair and deep blue eyes. She is very pretty and is wearing jean shorts and a pink shirt tyed in the front that shows her stomache. She is sixteen and popular. She hates mud and being dirty. She has a purse she savaged from the crash with a full water bottle, lipstick, mascara, a brush, and an apple. Oh and she's wearing white flipflops.

    And she befriends a duck she names teapot, she is a baby mallard.

    Ic: Emma opened her deep blue eyes. She lay on an island of saw grass that cut her skin and ached. She sat up and immediately felt light headed. The little island she was on was surrounded by deep Everglades swamps. A gator surfaced a couple feet in front of her and she let out a short scream and jumped up. Her pink shirt and jean shorts were damp and clung to her skin. She backed up and felt the saw grass cut into her skin. She turned and ran off to the one part of the island that was sand. Her purse was lying there. All her stuff was scattered on the sand but fortunately all there. She picked them up and put them in her hot pink purse then searched around for anybody that survived the crash. All she could remmember was flying then the motor dieing and then falling towards the Everglades faster than the speed of sound. Now she was stranded on an island full of sharp grass, surrounded by gator filled swamps. She looked across the shortest stretch of water and noticed a small baby mallard duck drinking water. Emma looked around for her mother but couldn't find her. So she swiftly waded out into the frigid water and across to the duck. The duck flapped her stubby wings at her aprouch but didn't run, remarkably she stood there and watched. Obviously she had no one to teach her to be afraid. Emma reached out a hand and stroked the ducks back. The duck peeped and Emma flinched and stepped back. The duck shook her bill then stepped after her and rubbed against her ankle. Emma smiled. She kissed the duck on the head and turned to walk back to her island. She heard splashing and turned. The little duck had followed her back. Emma laughed and stroked her head. "go on! Go back!" She said softly. The duck peeped and shook its head. Emma turned and walked onto the beach and over to the other side of the island. She turned and saw that the duck had followed her again. " awww, ok! You can come with me! What shall I call you? Teapot?" She asked the duck. The little mallard did look like tea and was kinda shaped like a pot. She peeped and nodded her head a little. Emma laughed, " ok, then it's settled, it's just me, Emma and you teapot, alone in the Everglades."

    IC~ Emma had been walking for an hour across the swampy area. It began to get deep. She was walking across a large stretch of open area. It was up to her chin and getting deeper. She turned and saw shimmer was standing still knee deep whinnying and pawing at the ground. Suddenly a five foot long gator leaped out of the water and at shimmer. She remarried and stomped down upon the gators head. The gator grunted a little and sped off through the water. Emma swam back to shimmer and patted her neck. " it's ok, he's gone now." She said and leaned against the goals head. Suddenly shimmer melt down on her knees her back exposed to her. Emma smiled and climbed on her back. She had been given riding lessons before but that was before her volleyball scholarship to the university of Florida which was were they were flying before they crashed. Shimmer stood back up and began to swim across the gator hole. Her strong legs paddled against the current. When we reached the other side she had to jump up to get to the top of the other side. I entangled my hand through shimmers mane and jerked it lightly to the right and she followed as if she was already broken in and trained.

    IC~ a brown haired boy woke up. he raised his hand to block out the light that beamed in his eyes. he looked around and remembered what happened. the plane falling to meet the earth and then flames. he saw most of the wreckage and it was still a little on fire but nothing to worry about. he was waist deep in muck.

    OCC~ ok I'm changing shimmer to teapot and she's a baby mallard duck.



    IC~ Emma stood up instantly recognizing the boy from the crash. " oh my god! I thought I was the only one!" Emma said, tears streaming down her face with ought her knowing until her face was dripping. She pat her thigh and teapot came waddling out of the thrush. She stopped at my feet and hoped onto my knee.

    "well so did i." he said. his voice sounded harsh and his brown eyes could just barley be seen through the mud and gunk on his face.

" well then, make something of yourself and get off your bum!" Emma said mimicking his voice. Her legs hurt from her fall. She set teapot down and began to walk off. Teapot peeped and waddled after her. The water began to get deeper. Teapot now swam next to her hip and soon next to her shoulder as she walked through a gator hole. She stomped her feet and a four foot gator swam off through the murky water. Her throught becoming scratchy and dry. Her belly growled ever step she took. And the more she tryed to take her mind off hunger the more she became. Teapot and Emma stopped at some lolly pads and teapot went bottom up as she picked food out of the water. When she surfaced gunk hung from her mouth and dropped to the water. She peeped and followed Emma again as Emma began to walk from the gator hole. Her clothes were soaking and murky.     the boy got out of the water. he looked down at his shoes. "well that's just great." he said and cursed under his breath as he rubbed mud off his Vans. he got a look on his face as if remembering something. he looked around. he looked worried as he headed for the crashed plane. his shoes sinking a good foot or two with each step.

    IC~ " well isn't it easier to survive in numbers?" She asked when she cought up. She cuddled teapot to her check then set her down in the water. " plus, I have no idea what I would do when it gets dark and I'm alone." She shivered. Her long dark hair flickering as the shiny strands cought the sun. Her deep blue eyes flashed with anger.

    IC~ the boy sighed. "alright, if you want a little traveling buddy then keep up." he said he climbed into a door of the crashed plane. "max?" he said looking around.

    IC~ Emma nodded and smiled. She scooped up teapot and climbed into the half on fire plane. The pilots sat in the front seat not moving. She tried to keep her eyes off their dead bodies and instead rummaged around looking for her blue backpack. She found it in the back under a torn seat and quickly snatched it up and put teapot in the top compartment to keep her safe. She turned to the boy. " who are you looking for, uh....." She said trying to remmember his name.
