Hollow; almost inaudible thuds merged with the passing wind as the melanistic form of the large wildcat stalked dangerously close to the Elite borders. Through the leafy canopy of the first near HawkClan, right on the edge of its border, Cato had views the peak of the curve of the deadly rusted Ferris wheel placed in the centre of Elite territory. He was knew to all this clan business and had been shipped here from the Amazon when he had been parted from his mother and sister in a forest fire so he had no idea this was actually an anti clan type territory. Now his body seemed to become almost invisible as he weaved between the thick trunk of the trees, panting in the warmth of the afternoon sun.

Kovu prowled through the thicket of trees surrounding the amusement park he called home, his odd lime green gaze surveying the area. Usually he wouldn't have gone on a solo patrol around the area, however, seeing as he had finally been apprenticed he figured it wouldn't hurt to improve on some detection skills. It seemed like quite a simply task seeing as they rarely ever got intruders, or so that's what the handsome trainee had thought. Lifting his nose and parting his jaws, Kovu allowed the fresh scent of pro-clanner to travel through his nostrils. He had to refrain from gagging at the scent.
Just what was a pro-clanner doing on anti-clanner territory? Breaking into a slow trot Kovu advanced forward, eventually coming to an abrupt stop as Cato came into view. A regular feline he could most likely take on, but perhaps facing off with a black leopard was in a little ways over his head. "State your name and business here, filth." The muscular trainee would growl lowly. "What brings someone such as yourself onto elite territory?"
-
What the hell was then foolish young one nattering on about? Elite territory? It was all pretty much alien language to the ebony ears of the leopard. Flicking his harsh amber optics to the tom, he growled menacingly, a low and eerily quiet snarl threatening what would happen if he was pushed too far. "Filth? Boy, I would watch your tongue or you may no longer have one." He was, admittedly, only a trainee himself though he had always had a much more mature thought process so never saw himself as a mere apprentice. His claws flexed warningly with his tail swiftly whipping behind him though he made no move. He doubted Capricornstar would appreciate him battling with an anti clan- it would only tempt a battle most likely. "The Elite, hmm? Is that where I am." Sweeping his gaze from the tom as he glanced around his surroundings, head rolling on his shoulders, he took in the forest before looking back down. He had no clue about clans or anything of the like so wouldn't have even know where the heck he was.
-
Boy? Just who the hell was this over-sized feline calling boy? "Those are some mature words for a leopard who doesn't even seem to be fully grown as of yet." The trainee spat, his lips drawing back into a snarl in order to reveal a set of oddly jagged teeth. Kovu had to admit, he still had to be catious in the presence of such a large animal. If he wasn't paying attention and Cato made some sort of move then that would most likely be the end of him. "Yeah, the elite. It's an anti-clan, duh." The male had responded finally. "And I can practically taste the pro-clan scent on you, our enemies. So don't make me repeat myself and state your name and buisness!"
-
Huffing almost exhaustively, the amber optics of the leopard glared at the trainee but guessed he was obliged to answer since he had strayed onto their territory. "Cato, HawkClan trainee. I'm afraid I unknowingly trespassed. Does that meet your desires?" His voice soft but mocking with a rip spiting the tiny trainee feline before him. He could kill the weasel in three seconds and yep, he knew it.
-
"Tch, I guess that answer shall have to suffice." The greyish trainee would respond finally, his lime green gaze narrowing into a fully blown glare. He didn't like this Leopard one bit. In fact, that dislike was slowly evolving into hate the more the over-sized feline seemed to sticking around. "Whatever, there's no higher ups around so get your over sized rump out of here and back to Hawkclan! I've had enough of you proclanners randomly trespassing."
