  • Aqua raced out of the cave with the others in front of her, still holding on to Moon. She stopped in the forest and panted really hard. "T-that was too close.." Aqua looked at Moon. "Don't do that ever again," She said sternly to the small pomsky pup.

  • Ray stayed quited still keeping a calm look on his face. Cora looked at Toto. "None of you got hurt right?" Cora asked

  • "I'm alright." He said, then joined in the race to get outside. Zane felt like he could pass out at any moment, but tried to keep a clear mind. "Please be more careful, Moon. I wouldn't like to see anyone of us get hurt."

  • "Sorry about that." Moon whined. "I guess I was just so scared I couldn't think right. I just rely on the humans too much." Moon looked at Zane, with a sorry look. "I got a little too carried away. Okay, maybe a lot."

  • Toto nodded slowly. He hardly heard what Cora said because he was too busy staring at her beautiful pelt. She's like an angel...

Aqua sighed as she looked at Moon for a moment longer, than sat down heavily. If Moon keeps this up for long, we all won't stand a chance out here..

  • Cora gave Toto a kind smile.

Ray walked over to Aqua. "Should we camp here for th night or keep moving" Ray asked.

  • Zane grew a bit bored of just sitting around, so he wondered off a bit. He then saw a butterfly, and sprinted after it. How does it fly? He wondered.

  • "I think we would be better off to leave this place for good," Aqua replied to Ray. "I don't want any of us near that cave again, even though it's already collapsed. When we get far enough, we can rest."

  • Aqua looked around the small group. She scanned the clearing, and then realized something was wrong. "Wait, hold on guys. Where is Zane?"

  • "We have to find him!" Moon cried. "I didn't even thank him for saving me yet! But most importantly, we have to make sure he's ok!" Moon had tears in her eyes. "This is not fair! If only my humans were here-" Moon stopped. "WHY DO I RELY ON THE HUMANS TOO MUCH??!!!!!! Why? It's not fair! It's just not fair. If MY humans were here, they would have saved us and we would have a nice and warm house in the city, safe and cozy and warm and not hungry! It's just so unfair!" Moon stormed off and curled up under a tree. "Plus, I never got to say goodbye to my humans." This time, Moons voice was really sad and emotional.

  • Zane continued his chase untill he tripped over his own paws. It was then that he realized he was lost, and took a good look at his surroundings. He decided to try howling like those wolves the humans talked about did, but it sounded very noisy and scratchy.

  • Aqua wipped her head around this way and that. She started to have a bad feeling in her stomach. Than she looked down at Moon. "The humans won't help us!" She growled, realizing she sounded more strict than intended. She sighed and said softer, "Do you remember what they did to us? You rely on them way to much, Moon. You have to let them go." She sniffed the air and pricked her ears up as she heard something in the distance. It's like a wolf howl... but to squeaky to be a wolf... Aqua shook her head, thinking she was only hearing things. "Okay, let's go look for Zane!"

  • Aqua thought about Cora's suggestion. "I think it would be best to split up in different groups," Aqua decided. "I don't want anyone alone, because someone could get lost like Zane." Aqua looked around the small pack of puppies. "Um.. Moon and Ray, you come with me. Cora, you can go with Toto." Aqua started trotting in one direction with Ray and Moon on her tail.
