    Opalkit was torn. "Bluekit!" She cried. But he was already gone. Wildkit looked between his sister and the forest. "I'll be fine. Go..." He had to choke out the last words. "Go get him."
    Though he and Bluekit were not on friendly terms, Wildkit loved his sister. He knew that she wanted to he friends with Bluekit.
    With a nod, Opalkit raced after Bluekit.

    Bluekit turned sharply. His eyes were blazzing "I have your brothers blood on my claws now so what could you want"

    Opalkit flinched back, but padded forward after a moment. "Please... I still want to be your friend." Her eyes glittered sadly. "I thought you wanted to be my friend too..."

    Opalkit stepped a little closer and nuzzled him with her nose. "But I do." She stepped back, sad. "I wish you did."

    "O-ok." Opalkit turned around and started to pad away. "And... I don't think Wildkit's really mad with you." She said in a timid voice. "I think he was just scared a little... that's all." Then she left.

    Opalkit went into the medicine cat's den. Starpaw, Glenshine, Wildkit and Nightblaze were all there, so it was a little crowded. Thankfully, nothing was infected and the wounds wouldn't scar.
    "Who did it?" Nightblaze was asking Wildkit.
    Opalkit froze. Would her brother really sell out Bluekit? After a long pause, Wildkit answered.
    "I wasn't looking were I was going and ran into a prickly bush."

    Bluekit sat in his lone nest for a moment. Then he padded out and sat by the freshkill pile. His mother came up and started shouting at him. Bluekit didnt look up "LOOK AT ME"His mother yowled and ran her paw against his jaw. Bluekit landed wailing. His paw over his face to hide a scar..and a broken jaw. His mother sneered "THATLL TEACH TOU I MEAN BUISSNESS"

    The sudden yowling outside made everyone in the medicine cat den jump. Starpaw, Opalkit and Nightblaze raced outside. The first thing Opalkit registered was Bluekit on the ground. "Bluekit!" She wailed and raced towards him in a silver blur. Starpaw followed, but her violet eyes were trained on Fireswipe, a snarl on her face. Nightblaze strode with more purpose towards te fallen kit, his eyes focused with cold fury at Fireswipe. He said nothing, though, and let his kit ask Bluekit if he was OK.

    Bluekit was in a pool of blood gushing from his jaw. A scar on his cheek was begining to settle in as a scar was souposed to. "Ow" was all bluekit could say before he fainted



    Bluekits father, sister, and brother (Forgot dads name so call him swoopfire) gathered around sending cold glares to fireswipe who stalked away smirking

    Opalkit was terrified, normally sleek fur puffed up. "Is he... is he..."
    Starpaw curled her tail around Opalkit's eyes so she wouldn't look. "No, he's just unconscious... get Glimmerwing, OK?"
    Opalkit nodded and raced off, tears pricking her eyes. She entered the medicine den wailing, "Glimmerwing it's Bluekit! There's blood everywhere!"
    Wildkit leaped up, but his mother stopped him. "Stay here, Opalkit."

    Bluekit began dreaming he was a brave warrior fighting a battle single pawed. Yet a warrior knocked hik down and he looked at the puddle he landed next to. His reflection petrefied him when he saw a crooked jaw.

    Glimmerwing had gently take him by the scruff into the medicine cat den. Opalkit almost instinctively knew what to do. She lairs under Bluekit's head as a sort of pillow as Glimmerwing put Bluekit down, then painstakingly crawled out from under. "What do I do?" The she-kit asked.
    "Watch him. If he wakes up, give him water." The medicine cat pushed a clump of wet leaves towards Opalkit and padded out to get supplies, worry showing in her blue eyes.


    Wildkit watched Bluekit, anger in his face. Not at Bluekit-at Fireswipe. What kind if cat would do this? He understood why Bluekit lashed out now.

    Opalkit scampered over. "You're alive!" She said in relief. She remembered what Glimmerwing told her and picked up the leaves, squeezing some water into his mouth.
