  • Mistedreed padded into the warriors den after a long day of fishing and swimming in the river. She had run into some of the other riverclan warriors and an otter, but no one she was really close to. All of her other friends were gone now or doing something else like spending time with their mate or kits or both. Life was so different now being a warrior then from being an apprentice. That was all part of growing up though and she wasn't complaining; not really. She had waited for this moment her whole life, but she had yet to really bond with any warriors let alone find a mate. That's what she wanted more than anything friends she could be with and a life long companion...maybe even kits of her own one day. She sighed heavily as she layed in her nest wishing someone would come around soon and talk with her.

  • Stealthclaw padded into the warriors den with two fish hoping to find someone to give one to.She spotted mistedreed alone in her nest and took her time getting to her."Hi mistedreed, I dont know if you remember my name but im stealthclaw. here you look hungry."Stealthclaw pushed the fish toward her and smiled.

  • Mistedreed lifted her head when Stealthclaw approached her. She smiled at the she-cat and flicked her tail in greeting. "Hey Stealthclaw," She purred happy that she now had company to join her. She was also grateful for the offer of a fish. She had gone fishing earlier, but had left her catch on the freshkill pile forgetting that she too needed to eat. Her stomach growled as she gladly took the other fish. "Thank you so much; I've been fishing all day, but somehow eating slipped my mind." She laughed in amusement. She hadn't really spent much time with Stealthclaw, but she did indeed remember the she-cats name.

  • Mistedreed laughed, "It sure does seem to." She took a bite of the fish and purred happily. It tastes so good! She thought to herself and swallowed the bite she had just taken. "I don't know how some cats can live without fish." She commented casually in an attempt to make small talk. Starting conversations weren't exactly her strong point, but she was going to try.

  • "Ya I know fish is the best. Imagine being in shadow clan they eat frogs!"Stealthclaw snickered. She took a bite of her fish and a good feeling swept over her like sun on the earth.

  • "I know," She scoffed her face twisting at the thought of eating a frog. Yuck! "Not to mention Lizards, rats, and starclan knows what else. I could never manage to be a Shadowclan cat. They don't smell too great either. I think I would die and ask to be taken to starclan if that's where I had been born."

  • Blighttail stepped into the den, his sickly brown tail dragging on the ground as he sat in his nest and licked his milky fur. He was a very ill looking cat, hence his name. He was thin, he coughed a lot and he just generally appeared to be dying. It was as if a miasma of death and decay followed him wherever he went. But he was far stronger, smarter and tougher than he appeared. However, after seasons of bullying from other warriors, apprentices and kits his mind tended to be... crowded. He made friends that only he could hear, only he could see. But he still kept a brave face and tried to communicate with other, physical, cats. He turned to the two she cats, his sleep-sagged eyes sparking a little cheerily. "G'day there, how're you g-" he suddenly broke off into a coughing fit, his fur sticking up angrily.

OOC: I recently bought the 'Clairvoyance' item from the store, and I was wondering if I could use it to a limited extent here? I'm fine if it's a bit sue-ish :3

  • Stealthclaw turned her head toward the tom and replied knowing what he meant."How are you?We just sat down for a meal would you like to join us?"Stealthclaw smiled, her eyes gleaming with comfort.

  • Acornfur dragged a large catfish behind him it still twitched every couples steps, but appeared mostly dead. He pushed through the reeds and sat down with the other cats.
"Hey" whispered Acornfur, "I caught this great catfish and I wanted to eat some myself, but I need to share it so I don't get in trouble. Do you guys want some? It's very fresh!"
Acornfur struck its spine forcefully with his backpaws and the fish flopped one more time and became very still. Acornfur pushed the catfish forward as a friendly offering.

  • "Hey Blighttail," Mistedreed said in a friendly voice. "You are more than welcome to join us if you wish." She purred neatly tucking her tail around her. She had just finished eating her fish when Acornfur came into the den. "Hello Acornfur, that's very kind of you and I would take some, but I just finished the one Stealthclaw brought me." She felt bad for denying the friendly offering and the catfish did indeed smell good. If only she wasn't already so full!

  • "Heh, that's fine. I'll hang out here and find a hungrier cat to share this with," Acornfur chuckled. He padded the soft mossy ground beneath and dropped his body into the soggy earth. It'd been a long day of fishing and Acornfur was ready to just relax and share tongues with his fellow clan mates. He nudged the catfish to Blightail to as to ask if wanted any. Then, he turned to the other cats.
"Are you okay Mistedreed? You seem a little distraught, maybe even depressed." Acornfur asked a little concerned, "You almost look as bad as Blighttail here, no offense intended."

  • "Well I better get my hunting done." Stealthclaw purred as she rose to her paws. She nodded knowing no one would come as if they had probubly just gotton back. She padded out of the warriors den and through the gorse tunnel. Ah... I love the feeling when I first step out into the forest...She padded on with her journey through the forest with leaves russling overhead. She loved the soft glimmer of light pleading through the trees in small amounts. Some leaves russled and she spotted a tiny starling. The birds presious wings on it's side it pecked at the forest floor not paying any attention to her.She made her own way of hunting so she decided she would use it, no one was around. She threw a fairly sized rock behind the bird and it flew up trying to get away. With her claws sheathed, she pounced up with her hind legs clasping around the starling. It strangled it untill it was dead. That was how to make a clean kill with no blood lost.

  • "See ya Stealthclaw thank you for the fish."She purred as she watched the other she-cat leave the den. She turned back to Acornfur who was now looking at her with concerned eyes. "I'm fine," She said casually. "Just been so busy I havn't really had time to stop and just relax with friends. Kind of lonely ya know?" She licked her paw. She didn't want to admit that she also hated the fact that she hadn't found a mate yet and wanted kits of her own. That would have just been a strange thing to say. Plus you had to be careful with tom's now a days. Some didn't care and others cared just to get lucky; go figure.

  • Stealthclaw continued hunting. She caught 2 starlings and 3 fish. It was hard for her to put them all in her mouth when she started walking back to camp. She wanted the camp to have trees over it like the forest bur it was a hollow so it didn't. she padded back into camp and spit the prey into the pile. Then then went to check on the elders.

When she came out, she padded into the medicine cats den to bet some mouse bile for the ticks. She had nothing better to do for her clan but to take on apprentice duties. She grabbed a paw full and staggered to the elders den once again. She finished after several heartbeats and she felt like taking a nap. She bounded over to the warriors den and layed down listoning to there conversation. She felt like she had many friends and she had a good life here. She never wanted to grow up and join star clan for what others call an even better life. She wanted to stay here in river clan forever. She liked hunting for all kinds of creatures. She loved the taste of birds and even mice, not only fish.
