    Malvanti skidded to a stop, fur fluffed up, not quite angry, but agitated as he turned with a huff and sat down, glaring at the entrance of the camp, waiting. His ears were flattened against his skull and besides the soft movements of chest and sides, he was completely still.

    Dew and Shadow followe Malvani but stoping partially as They noticed him glaring at the entrance " Malvani? Is eveything alright?" Dew asked hesitantly, not wanting to scolded again, she lowered her tail and ears.


    Shadow was quiet as he watched his sister speak with Malvani. He flicked his ear, feeling a fly buzz near it

    "Yes, fine. Do you mind patrolling the border? I'll hunt, Shadow, stay here and watch the camp. Any of you find anything, howl. We'll be there," Malvanti grunted, slowly turning back into his own, kind, hyper self. He dashed out of camp, ears perked and nose up, trying to smell anything that might still be around territory.

    Dew nodded and at once left to go patrol the borders, leaving a stony faced Shadow to guard the camp. Upon leaving she couldn't shake the feeling that she was slowly getting sick.


    Shadow stood quietly by the camp entrance, looking out for anything that needed to be gone or chased of. His ears perked, trying to hear anything that may be danger

    Malvanti smelled the stench of a lizard crawled up his nostrils. He clenched back a sneeze and looked around, spotting it's hole quickly. It was close by, and he lashed out a paw, scooping it out and sending it against a tree, picking it up by the tail and pushing it under a bush before sniffing around.

    Dew continued walking around the border, a small bird had caught her interest and she began chasing the bird, it was bright blue bird. She ha jumped u to try and catch it several times until it had flown off.


    Shadow kept alert, not letting the slightest thing get to him.

    Malvanti peer from behind a tree, seeing a vulture, picking at a cold carcass of a dead rabbit. Grinning, he stalked around, then jumped forward, snapping his jaws around the bird's neck, killing it, then getting the lizard and the carcass of the rabbit before trotting back to camp. He had been lucky to find the lizard and then the vulture, the uneaten carcass and all. He quickly made it back to camp, dropping it in the center of camp.

    Dew kept walking, the bird had wasted much of her time. She was almost done when the bird appeared again. This time she chased after, and without thinking, she had chased it all the way back to camp, she jumped up and caught, but upon realizing where she was, she let go of the bird, which flew of quickly.




    Shadow shot his sister an amused glance " Enjoy chasing birdies much" shadow barked, teasing his sister

    Looking between each piece of prey Malvanti had caught, he took the little lizard which even had less meat than the rabbit carcass which he had checked and confirmed was free of diseases. He padded away and sat, not even bothering to get to settled as he swallowed the meager meal whole.

    Dew sat quietly, looking up at the bird as it flew away.Dew thought what is was like to be alone, flying around freely. She didn't like the idea of being alone.



    Shadow watched Dew look up at the bird. Shadow snickered as he slowly creeped up on Dew," Boo". You would have thought Dew had been attacked, she jumped up, her black and white fur bristled

    Malvanti, not paying attention, had only heard the reaction, and stood up quickly, whipping around a snarl already forming on his mouth. When he saw it was just the siblings, he huffed, sitting down again and trying to relax.

    " Sorry" Dew mumbled, she ha her paw on top of Shadows muzzle. Returning her glance to Shadow, she nipped Shadows ear before letting go.


    Shadow rubbed his ear " ouch" Shadow snorted, nudging Dew slightly with his muzzle. His Blue eyes held a warm gleam to them though

    Ash then slunk under a holly bush,disguising his scent.He then slipped out,his long lean legs letting him take long strides.He glanced around and,with a hungry stomach,yipped his arrival."Malvani?"He asked.He flicked his ears and then looked at the entrance,waiting for a approval.

    Malvani recognized the voice of the new loner, Ash, "Come on in, Ash," He called, looking toward the entrance, though he did not get up and his voice was friendly, as if he were meeting an old friend. He waited until the wolf entered before asking, "What can I do for you? You're welcome to eat and rest here, if you need it."

    Ash bowed his head and said,"Please excuse my rash behavior...I am a wolf who has become quite protective and I tend to snap if one is made fun of..."He looked at Malvani with sad blue eyes.

    Malvanti nodded, "I understand. It is not you I was yelling at, but the other alphas who reacted when he was simply trying to get a reaction. He was not making fun of anyone or any pack and they snap like everything is about them," He snorted, shaking his head, "You seem to have more potential than any alpha in any of these packs. You'd think the alphas would be smarter than the average new born pup, but in that respect they'll surprise you." He shook his head again, "Please excuse me, I really shouldn't be talking like that, it's not respectful to the others," He sighed, flicking an ear.

    Dew and shadow watched Malvani speak with Ash in silence. Dew's head tilts slightly, wondering if something needed to be fixed. Dew leaned slightly on Shadow, trying to shake the drowsy feeling rising in herself.




    Shadow stretched his jaws wide in a yawn. Scratching his side, he licked Dews nose, trying to keep his sister awake
