    Emberpaw clenched her teeth and closed her eyes tight, sobbing silently into Rainapw's cold pelt.

    "No" she replied "one day as the old deputy died a new one was chosen but it was a poor deciskion he killed the leader and took over. First the fire nation lived in fear but he forced the new generation to be raised as evil. They were" she finished

    "I wonder what it would've been like if Burntstar hadn't become leader. If those cats hadn't been raised to be evil." The young kit frowned.

    oh no. it started before bunrstar" she said "its been going on for moons and moons and moons"

    "But it's never been as bad as now, right?"

    No never as bad as now. But we cant exactly blame all the gireclan cats. They were raised to believe they were the best. Some of the elders of fireclan remeber what it was like. But they are very very old"

    Eaglekit nodded silently. He wished it could only be like when the elders were young cats.

    Emberpaw stood up and lightly padded over to Riverbird.
    "It not fair, is it?" She clamped her eye and her shoulders shook, tears falling from them.
    "I used to hear tales of when Fireclan was great, peaceful even. I used to wish it was like that, that it could be, someday. Somewhere along the road, I lost faith in that. I only wish I could bring that hope back again."

    Riversong nodded in agreement before turning and heading towards the edge of camp.

    Um....Rainsong, Emberpaw was talking to Riverbird.

    Jaypaw came into camp, his shoulder was bleeding from a blast of fire from a Fireclan warrior.

    Rainsong, do you mind if I erase Dewclaw? Pretend he was never a character? I just don really want him in here......


    Moonstream padded over to Jaypaw.
    "You should go see Berryleaf (is that her name? I'm sorry, I'm sort of drawing a blank) That wound look like it could get infected."


    Eaglekit yawned.

    IC~ Jaypaw nodded, looked away and blushed. He padded over to The medicine cat den. Berryleaf was in there treating the badly injured cats.

    IC: Riversong looked up as Littlecreek sat down beside her, "You okay?" She asked pointing towards a wound on his cheek (already treated)
    Littlecreek nodded. "What about u?"
    "Hanging in." Riversong replied.

    Moonstream yawned and curled up, not wanting to sleep in the hot, stuffy den. She closed her eyes and smiled, curling her striped tail over her paws.
