Introduction
Welcome, to the Wild Cats of Texas. Here, all of the wild cats of Texas get together, and form a group, known as the "Wild Wranglers". These fierce cats protect each other, and thrive in the hot, desert land of Texas, thriving upon the Great Plains region. They travel the vast open land, and end up coming upon cities at times; never, ever... ever.. go there. The cats usually stay together, like lions of a pride, but they all share ranks, and a male will never out rank a female. And vice versa.

Admins will be in charge of the thread when I'm offline, and when I'm online, they have the freedom to accept/deny forms, they have the ability to tell you to stop doing something, and you will show respect to them! If you disobey an admin, I will make sure you leave the thread, or apologize.

Rank Meanings
The leader is the leader of the pack. He often looks to the wise and the shamans rather than the Commanders or Governors for advice. His word is law; disobey and you'll be punished. That is if you get caught by the leader's mate (If it were a male). The current leader, however, will just warn you. Disobey him again, however, he'll hand your a** to you. One of the reasons he was chosen to be the leader. Czech holds all powers available in the group.

The Leader's mate is the leader's mate. Since Czech is a male, being caught by his mate wouldn't be so bad. The Leader's mate is considered the second leader; Alphas to be exact. She will have the power to promote a cat to a higher rank.

The Governors are like Betas. They do not have to be mates, or be related to the Leader(s). One male and one female is chosen to be Governor, and will take charge if the Leader is unable to uphold his power/job, or is absent at the moment. If the Leader has a mate, and she is present, she takes control, along with her choice of Governor. They are next in line to become Leader. They do not, however become mates. Ever. One Governor will be chosen by the Leader, not the Leader's mate, and that cat will take over, until he/she takes on his/her mate, and so on, so forth. The Governor has the ability to promote an omega to a higher rank, or a Fighter to Lead Fighter, Hunter to Lead Hunter, and so on.

The Commander is similar to the Beta position, also known as the Governor position. He/She will be chosen, and if Governors and Leaders are not present, he/she will take over. The Commander will be responsible for helping the Governors, and have the responsibility of looking over the Omegas. They train the Lead Fighter and Lead Hunter, since usually, a Commander is chosen if he/she has great fighting and hunting skills.

The Deltas are responsible also, for taking care of the Omegas, and are given the responsibility of also taking care of the Wise, and the Shamans, including the Shaman Apprentice.

The shaman male and female are mates, and they receive visions from the star walkers about danger and warning. They are also the healers of the pack, and next to the wise, are one of the most sought after for information. The shaman are never back talked to, not even by the alpha's dare to question their words. They are amazing healers and sometimes doing the impossible.

The shaman apprentice has at some point in their life had a vision from the star walkers. They are being taught how to heal and interpret visions correctly and not give false information. They are usually female and cannot become a shaman until they find a mate.

The lead fighter and lead hunter/huntress are as their name states. They are the leads for the reason of being one of the most agile in the pack.

The fighters and hunters do as their leads and alphas tell them to and do the best when they are told to. Any of these dogs can have the leads position once they retire, but the head will usually pick the most capable to take his or her place. Fighters and hunters are never less than the age of 2 years of age, and the situation in which they are is extremely rare and frowned upon by most. But nobody questions that, as when the teacher says they are ready for their position, there isn't a doubt that they are ready.

The wise are very old cats. Pack members may only retire around old age or due to severe injuries which effects their positions. They will go to the shamans when one of the alphas approve them to go pass themselves to be with the star walkers. The wise have wonderful stories of their youth and more to tell the pups. It is the Wise's job to make sure the history of the pack survives and to give good information and advice because history may repeat itself.

The young may be newborn kits or just a little older. They are usually playful and full of energy, but most know their place when they misbehave. The kits are never allowed too far from the nursery, for the hunters are lurking at every corner. And of course, mothers are as their name states.

Trainees are usually young kits around the age of three or younger. Once they begin training, a Governor or Commander gives them a special task- two actually. One has to do with hunting, the other with fighting. If the young one is best at both, they begin training for both, and once they are older, they are given more special tasks, to see which is best for them- hunting or fighting. They usually train until they are about five, six years old, and take on a hunting position or a fighting position once they are obviously ready for one of the positions.

The omegas are the lowest ranking dogs or wolves, usually breaking rules, leaving and returning, or just too weak to fill any other spot.

Edible Foods

The cats of Texas may eat rabbits, smaller cats, small dogs (rarely), berries, grass, rats, birds, mice, deer, and if prey is real scarce, they may eat rotting meat. Not all the time, and when they don't eat the rotting meat, they'll usually have mouthfuls of grass, which they eat just to keep their appetite down, and some may even eat berries.

Beliefs

The cats of Texas have their own beliefs. For instance, the dead cats who roam the skies, are known as star walkers. The cats believe in one god, and one god only- his name is Trojan. Everything that happens in their life, they'll give blessing to Trojan. They don't usually say it aloud, but they bless Trojan for giving them their needs, such as the meat they caught for the day, the water they drank, the messes they made, the kills they made, etc. etc. Shamans are able to connect in a special way with the star walkers, and are known to have some special connection to Trojan, the almighty-god as well. They do not believe in killing kits, especially if they didn't want the kits. They'd simply just give them to another pair whom would take care of the abandoned kits.

If they did kill the kits if they didn't want them; they are disobeying Trojan's word. Trojan has set out many rules for these wild cats to follow, and if disobeyed, rumor has it that the cat will suddenly disappear one day and never return. Legend has it, that when Trojan roamed the earth, and ruled the land, he banished those whom disobeyed him, and they ended up dying in the middle of nowhere, without their group of cats to help survive. Long ago, most never knew the ways of surviving, and had trouble thriving. With the help of Trojan, some managed to make it alone. Others... that didn't go so well...

Trojan was a wild caracal of long ago Texas, and his breed of cat was rare in that part of Texas that he'd lived in. Most assumed that he was a special one, one who'd lead them all into living and thriving forever, but when disobeyed, again, Trojan would send them to a death that was horrible. Therefore, most ended up giving up their lives for him, and staying loyal to him, and obeying him. Trojan had his good sides, and his bad. He was somewhat good, somewhat evil, but he wasn't an evil mastermind who wanted to spread death throughout the land. Trojan was believed to bring good and evil to the lands of Texas, long ago.

Therefore, now, Czech and the group are following the rules made by Trojan long, long ago. Trojan still sends rules to Czech, by the Shamans, and Czech too, has a special relationship with the legendary Trojan himself.. Maybe you'll find out... Maybe you won't find out what that special relationship is......
