He looked at her. He looked back at Adam. He narrowed his eyes. "Come on."

Once inside her house, she invited them both in, taking the child to her own room. Once inside her room she rested the young boy on the bed and wrapped him up neatly in her blanket. Afterwards she walked back out in the living room.
-
"Is he doing ok?" He asked as he looked at her.
-
"Yes, he's fine, just sleeping," Alice said rather calmly as she sat down on her couch. Despite all she's gone through, she wasn't at all exhausted.
-
He looked at her. "I need to go eat. I really do." He said as he started to walk out of the house. "Be safe, ok?" He asked as he looked at her.
-
"I will be, don't worry," Alice said with a reassuring smile as she waved good bye. She just hoped that he didn't end up killing another mother right in front of a kid. She knew she'd be unable to deal with another kid.
-
He looked around at the humans. He couldn't bring himself to drink from another. He sat on a park bench to think. He could drink from a blood bag or from animals. Both seemed awful. He winced as he heard a dog barking. He couldn't help, but think of his sister. He was the one who had to put her down. He stared at his feet.
-
Walking into her kitchen, Alice went over to her fridge and opened it up. Yawning lightly she grabbed a yogurt as well as a spoon and began to eat it. She was quite hungry herself, but of course she wasn't eating what Lucifer was.
-
Lucifer got to his feet. He knew the werewolves in town. He tried to recall the ones that hated vampires. He was fed up and just had to much on his plate. He saw Adam in an alley way feeding off a hiukan. He stopped for a moment then walked back to Alice's house. He quickly walking inside.
-
The little boy slowly started to wake.
-
"Welcome back," Alice said calmly as she tossed her yogurt away. Walking into the living the room, she heard shuffling from within her room. "I think the boy's waking up," she said casually.
-
Lucifer sat down on the couch putting his head in his hands.
-
He looked around confused. He pulled the covers over his face.
-
"What's wrong?" Alice asked calmly as she sat down next to him. She could somehow tell that he still hadn't eaten. What could she do? Oh she knew what she could do, but she didn't want to do it.
-
"I'm fine." He told her. "Just take care of the boy." Lucifer told her.
-
"Alright.." Alice said softly as she stood up and walked toward the bedroom. Peeking her head in, she spoke softly, "Are you awake?"
-
The boy didn't answer. She kept the covers pull up.
-
"You know... even if you stay under there, nothing will change," Alice's voice was calm and understanding. But she knew quite well that it was true. Even if you attempt to hide from it, you'll just fail.
-
He slowly pulled the covers down.
-
"Come here," Alice said kneeling down lightly, opening up her arms in a hug. Even though she couldn't actually be the child's mother, she could be like an elder sibling.
-
He slowly got up and hugged her closing his eyes.
-
Lucifer couldn't believe he didn't smell it before. He lookd at the little boy. The little thing was a mutt.
-
"Its alright," Alice said softly as she wrapped her arms around the boy. Of course she was unaware of what this young boy truly was, she only saw him as an innocent child.
