  • "Oh my God. I can't wait! Can I scream now?"

    "No."

    "Please?"

    "No."

    "How about now?"

"Wait 'till the concert actually starts and I'm away from you, getting us some soda."

    "Oh you are just cold."

Melanie Ember rolled her eyes, sitting in one of the front row seats inside a huge stadium and wishing she was anywhere else in the world right now. Did this really have to happen? Did she really have to get dragged to a concert by her best friend, just to see some guy sing about how much he apparently loved a girl, or whatever it was he sung about?

"Seriously, Alyssa. I don't get what the big deal is." Melanie grumbled. She adjusted her position in the comfortable front row seat before brushing some of her jet black hair out of her amber eyes.

Alyssa nearly squealed from excitement, her leafy green eyes shining. "The big deal? The big deal? Melanie, I didn't make you come to this concert for nothing. You'll see how amazing he is once you hear his voice." She bounced up and down in her seat, her cherry red hair flying everywhere.

"I've heard his voice. It's okay. It's the lyrics that are just stupid." Melanie replied, looking bored. She blinked in surprise as the lights started to dim. "Wow, that was fast." She murmured. Then, in a louder voice, "Yeah I'm going to go get that soda now. Cherry Coke, right? I'll see you later." The girl spoke quickly as other teenage girls in the stadium started to scream.

Alyssa started to scream along with them, bouncing up and down in her seat. She barely took notice of Melanie as the quiet girl slipped out of the stadium.

  • OOC:
    Yeah son
Gonna start after the concert I suppose? XD
Sorry for the really crappy post. I have like a million things going on ahhhhhh im so sorry

    IC:
A few signatures here, a few thanks, a few laughs. That was the normal post-concert routine for Kyle Frost. He flashed a bright smile to a few girls before heading out to board his bus.
He wasn't aware a few stray fans were stalking him.
He sighed and glanced around, raising a dark eyebrow. Where the hell were his guards? He was stupider than he though, not knowing they were waiting for him at the other exit.

  • OOC ~
It's alright. Just make sure you get in a few long posts here and there.
    DIS IS GONNA BE AWESOMEEEEEE
Ermahgerd. I love his name. XD

    IC ~
Melanie had bid a farewell to Alyssa, who had her mascara ruined from crying so much at the concert. Now she walked on the sidewalk, her sneakers making little noise against the pavement. It was one thing to arrive at the concert, and it was another thing to leave.

"Damn parking spaces." Melanie murmured under her breath. Lucky her. She got to park near the back entrance, meaning a long walk for her. "Damn screaming girls." She swore she could still hear the ringing in her ears.

Hearing screaming girls somewhere nearby, Melanie let out a sigh. "What now, huh? Could the jerk still be signing autographs?" Rounding a corner, the girl nearly burst out laughing.

"Kyle Frost, the only superstar who managed to get trapped by his own fangirls after a concert."

Melanie smirked, seeing a few girls–maybe five or six–crowding around him near a gate that was the back entrance. And it was the way Melanie had to go if she ever wanted to reach her car.

Was he really that stupid? Exiting the building without his guards?
"Wow, I almost feel sorry for him." Melanie laughed quietly. She walked along the fence, getting closer to the gate and the screaming fangirls. They were his problem, not hers. If she could just slip through the crowd and get to the parking lot...

Damn Kyle Frost. Can't he keep his stupid fangirls under control? Melanie thought, pushing and shoving the girls aside until she had reached the gate. She turned her head to undo the latch on the gate so that she could get out of this hell and was surprised to find herself face-to-face with the superstar. Her amber eyes narrowed. "Can't you keep them under control?!" She yelled over the screams.

    Heuyeyyueyheyue yes >u<

    IC:
Kyle blinked in surprise as he turned at the screaming girls, a confused look crossing his features.
    Great.
He gave a soft laugh. "Hey, uh, I gotta go back, so could you all move...?" Once they didn't move, his
    lip twitched in annoyance. "Seriously."
He blinked and rubbed his eyes as once girl snapped a flash photo of him with her phone, squealing. Well, he's going to see that one all over the internet within the next week.
They gradually began to force him back up against the fence. He slapped one's hands away as she tugged at his shirt with a giggle. "Hey- stop it! That's- uh,- sexual harassment!" He turned and noticed a girl walking towards them. Ugh. Not another one.
Kyle kept smacking hands away from him. It wasn't until she said something that he had noticed that she had gotten right beside him. He narrowed his soft blue eyes at her. "If I could, don't you think I would?" He snapped- pushing one girl away from him a bit forcefully. She stumbled back and they watched her before staring at him and taking more pictures.
God damn it. The press will have a field day with that.

  • OOC ~
Also sorry if I take long to reply. I'm watching my first episode of Black Butler and I keep forgetting to check on my threads. XD

    IC ~
"See, this is why I don't like you stupid superstars. You have fans you adore you, and you treat them like dirt!" Melanie exclaimed. Then she smiled. "Although... This is the one time I can make an exception." She laughed quietly before her face turned serious. "Seriously though, you guys are horrible. Now, come with me if you want to live."

Melanie reached up and undid the latch on the gate, which swung open almost immediately since the two people had been putting their weight on it. Melanie stumbled a bit before she righted herself and grabbed the guy's wrist, pulling him through the crowd. Running quickly, she made it to her car with some girls that were a couple yards away.

"Just get in unless you want to get mauled by teenage girls." Melanie felt like she was saying that both to Kyle Frost, and herself as she climbed into her car, slamming the door behind her. The girl locked the doors once the car had turned on, and managed to drive out of the parking lot without getting stopped by any more fangirls.

  • OOC:
    It's fine!!

    IC:
"Hey-!" He exclaimed, almost following on his back when the gate swung open. He jerked as she pulled him towards her car. "Awe, come on, I'm not letting you drive. I don't know you- you could be kidnapping me!"
Though, glancing back at the advancing girls, being kidnapped seemed like a better idea then being groped and possibly have worse things done. Quickly, he yanked open the passenger side door and slid in, not even bothering to fasten his seat belt.
"I don't freaking abuse my fans, for one, okay?" He started. "That was self defense! I don't want people touching up on me, that's creepy and weird. Second- where are we going anyway, girl?"

  • OOC ~
Thanks. Also, where should this be taking place? Like, what state?

    IC ~
Melanie gritted her teeth and her grip tightened on the steering wheel, her pale knuckles turning paler. "Self-defense doesn't mean you have to literally shove somebody away. Ever heard of the term, you can't hit a girl?" The 16 year old slowed the car down as she turned onto a dusty trail, thankful that it was night and the scenery couldn't be seen. The road she was on didn't have streetlights–something that was both a blessing and a curse.
"You'd better buckle up. If I somehow crash and you die, I won't be responsible. Plus, I don't want your death on my conscience." Melanie was pretty cold towards the people she disliked. It was in her nature. At least it kept unwanted people away. "The name's Melanie. Call me 'girl' one more time and I'll turn this car around and hand you right back over to the teenagers."

  • OOC:

    IC:
"Okay- first of all, that saying is utter and complete bullshit. If a girl is running at me with a god damned knife, or if she's trying to grab my junk or something, I'm going to freaking shove her. I would only punch the girl with the knife. I hate it when people look at a man wrong for simply trying to preserve his personal space- yet people don't realize that women are just as capable of abuse as men are. So that term is crap and should just be thrown the hell away. I don't believe in gender roles or any of that crap. Equality is equality. If a woman punches me, I'm gonna punch her back."
Sighing, Kyle rubbed his eyes tiredly before sliding the seat belt over his torso and clicking it into the buckle. "Fine, fine, whatever. True it wouldn't be your fault because I was stupid and didn't put my damn seat belt on. You're still the one that told me to get in the car though. Anyway, Melanie, where the hell are we going?"

  • Melanie raised an eyebrow, turning her head to stare at the boy in the passenger seat with a weird look on her face. "You have a really fucked-up mind, Kyle Frost." She stayed with that poker-face until the corner of her mouth twitched, and she smiled. "Not bad, for a jerk. I've never met a popstar as honest as you. Then again, I've never met a popstar like this."
Melanie turned her head back to the road, wincing as her car went over a bump and she hit her head on the car. "Ow... Well, that wasn't as bad as the one yesterday." She murmured, rubbing her head with one hand. "We're going to where I live. I don't see where else we would go, anyway. You'll be spotted a mile away, and then what? Paparazzi, fangirls, the cops–possibly." She shrugged, keeping her eyes on the road as she made a sharp turn to the right.

  • OOC:

    IC:
He gripped her 'oh shit' handle above the door and sneered. "I'm going to just take that as a compliment." He grit his teeth for a moment and relaxed.
"Yeah, I have a fucked up mind- what's new?" He laughed dryly. He was so.. different when he was basically one-on-one with this girl. If this was any other girl, he would be grinning, nodding and agreeing with a fake look as if he cared.
But this girl obviously wasn't a fan, so he really didn't care what she thought of him.
It wasn't often he got to be the stupid, back-talking, sarcastic teenager his brain told him to be. Normally it was all covered up by his manager pressing him to be the perfect idol.
"When the hell will I be able to leave? Sooner or later, if my manager doesn't find me, I'm sure he wouldn't care telling the public I'm dead or something."

  • OOC ~
Finally somebody else who knows what the 'oh shit' handle is! XD

    IC ~
"Sounds like your manager's a real son of a bitch." Melanie told him easily. "If I was a popular jerk like you that ran the risk of being mauled by crazy teenage girls, I'd probably hide for about a day before going back to my manager." She shrugged. "Tomorrow there'll be pictures of you on the internet everywhere. But, if you weren't there tomorrow to approve or deny those photos, it would probably just die down. Then you can go crawling back to your manager and pretend that none of this ever happened." The girl turned her head and smiled sweetly in a sarcastic way. "So, what'll you do?"

Just then, Melanie slammed down on the brake, causing both of their bodies to lurch forward until they were stopped short by their seatbelts. If there was one thing she loved to do when she was with somebody she didn't know, it was to make herself seem as weird as possible. That way, they'd go away quicker. "Sorry 'bout that. We're here." Melanie unbuckled her seatbelt as she turned off the car. Crickets chirped and frogs croaked as she stepped outside, her sneakers landing in the dirt.

  • OOC:
    *High fives* XD
    Yeah, buddy~
Are we just gonna ignore poor Mason and Talia/Erin for a while?
    XD

    IC:
His head almost came intact with the dash, his eyes wide. He grumbled lowly and practically wrestled his seatbelt to get out of it.
"Fine. Whatever. I don't know why you're even helping me." He brushed a hand through his chocolate hair, kicking at a pile of leaves absently before glancing at her house.
"You actually live here? With who else?" Kyle asked tiredly. He wasn't in the mood to reply back in a sarcastic tone. Right then, all he wanted to do was sleep. Maybe eat more than he was advised.

  • OOC ~
Oh my gosh... I am sorry to say that I totally forgot about them and I've just been on this one page, refreshing over and over. XD

    IC ~
"Yes, I actually live here. I live alone. With my... Pets." Melanie smirked. "I'm helping you because I felt sorry for you back there." Shaking her head at Kyle, Melanie started up the stone pathway, kicking at a few mushrooms growing here and there. "By the way... You afraid of animals of any kind?" She asked, turning back at him when she had reached the porch.

  • OOC:
    LOL! It's fine!! XD
Ahahhaa! I finally figured out how to upload images to the thing i draw on digitally, so now I can do line art of drawings I've done on paper~

    IC:
"Uhm. Spiders, that's pretty much it." He eyed her cautiously. "Why? Don't tell me you have one. I'll smash that fucker, I swear." He said with a dead serious voice.
He coughed for a second before shaking his head out.
"Anyway, for real, why do you ask? What type of pet do you have?"

  • OOC ~
    Hooray! :D
Since I'm more of a traditional artist, and I'm horrible with digital artwork, I do my line art on tracing paper. :)

    IC ~
Melanie laughed. "Don't worry, I hate spiders too. They're so creepy. I mean, what animal do you know that has eight legs, and more than three eyes?" She shuddered before taking a key out of her pocket and turning it in the lock, the front door opening with a creak.

"I have a snake, and a dog, and a cat. Oh, and a squirrel." Melanie smiled. "I rescue any animal I can find, because I think they have feelings too, y'know? Plus it's a great way for me to interact with other living things when my friends don't come over." She looked around the room in which they entered.

It was a small room, with a wood floor and a few windows that let in the moonlight. Facing them was another door, and to the right there was a large mattress against the wall that took up most of the space. A small, patched blanket covered the mattress. To the left of the room was a large window that showed a forest far off in the distance, and next to it was a small trampoline.

"It's not much, but to me it's home sweet home." Melanie shrugged.

    Hehe uwu
On CitCB, do you wanna timeskip to Mason's dad arriving?

    IC:
"Oh. That's cool. I'm not allowed to have pets." He ribbed the back of his neck. LManager hates em." Kyle bitbhis lip and looked away. "Got any food?" He muttered as he took in the room. He couldn't imagine living in such a place.

  • OOC ~
    Yesss you responded! :D
(I don't know how many times I clicked refresh)
Yeah, we'll timeskip after I reply to that thread. :)

    IC ~
Melanie turned her head and raised an eyebrow. "No pets? That's like, no breathing!" She exclaimed. Then she thought for a moment. "I have some chocolate chip cookies, and a few bags of chips." Melanie looked down at her feet, rather than looking him in the eye. "I know it's... Er... Not what you're used to, being famous and all."

Just then there was what sounded like a high-pitched whining noise coming from behind the door. Melanie's head snapped up. "Oh shit! How could I forget?" She turned and raced to the door, where she took out her key again and unlocked it. The girl pocketed her key before turning the knob and opening the door wide open, where she was promptly knocked to the ground and licked repeatedly on the cheek.

"S-Stop it! Stop it, Sam!" A large German Shepherd was currently standing over Melanie, having knocked her to the ground earlier. He looked like a fairly old dog, and one of his eyes was a milky white color. His tail wagged pretty quickly as Melanie managed to push him off and stand up, wiping her cheek.
"This is Sam." Melanie introduced, her cheeks pink from embarrassment. "He's blind in one eye, as you can tell, and he used to be a police dog. He was already named Sam when I got him." She turned around as Sam walked slowly past Melanie to look up at Kyle curiously. "Here are the others."

A young, sand-colored kitten hobbled into the room on three legs, meowing loudly. "That's Athena. I gave her that name because she's the smartest kitten I know, even if she's only a couple months old." Melanie smiled fondly at the little kitten and picked her up, causing her to stop meowing and instead purr loudly.

Next was a tiny little squirrel with a busy red tail. It ran around the room, stopping by Kyle's shoe to give it a sniff before it ran up Melanie's leg, ending up climbing her clothing to reach her shoulder. "That's Red. You can always tell by her tail." She explained, turning and saying a quick 'hello' to the squirrel.

"My snake's still in my room. His name is Fang, and I keep him separated from the others because I don't want him biting any of them." Melanie let out a long sigh as she set Athena down, Red racing down to the ground as well and standing next to the three-legged kitten.

"They all tire me out, but they're also my family." Melanie turned around and folded her arms over her chest, watching as the animals slowly approached the stranger. "That... And they have never seen another person in this house before." She laughed lightly, watching as Athena gave a rather loud meow and tried to bite Kyle's shoe, tugging at the shoelace as if it were the enemy.

  • OOC:
    yeah son XD
Ahh. Tomorrow's going to be difficult. I'm trying to rekindle with an old friend who was once my only and best friend. We've grown apart and she's changed a lot and shes kinda scary but i mean dsafjdsf;sdg;kjf thats just her personality

    IC:
His eyes raised at the animals. Kyle nodded along as she told him about them. He frowned and carefully pulled his shoelace from Athena.
"Ah. Man, you're lucky. I would kill to be able to just be alone with animals like this. But it's just tour buses and screaming idiots most of the time." He mumbled the last part under his breath bitterly.
"So, uh," He paused a moment before offering a hand to Sam, offering to let him sniff it, before moving to the other animals quietly. "Would they let me pick them up and pet them...?" He questioned. He had never handled an animal before- the whole thing was new to him. Of course Kyle had seen them before- he just.. never got up close and personal. Except for one promotional campaign but that was a whole different story.
He sighed and straightened out, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jeans, frowning at the tightness of them. "I'd also kill for some normal jeans and shoes. I hate all this name brand shit."
Why the hell was he telling her all of this stuff?

  • OOC ~
    Good luck, my friend. ;;
Also would you mind using a different color than red? It contrasts with the green background I have, and makes my eyes hurt a bit. Sorry 'bout that. :-[

    IC ~
Melanie laughed. "It sucks being famous, huh?" She asked. "It seems like it's a great thing, though. You've got people who love you, adore you, you're famous, you're rich, you get to travel the world when you do tours..." She trailed off, beginning to ramble. Wow. She never rambled.

Shaking her head to clear it, Melanie nodded. "Don't worry. They're friendly. Here." She picked up Athena, who gave a meow before purring. Holding out the kitten in the palms of her hands, Melanie offered her to Kyle. "She won't bite. Even though she only has three legs, she can still walk fine."

Melanie smiled, watching as Athena tottered and teetered as she crossed over and into Kyle's hands. Letting out a loud meow as usual, she sniffed Kyle for a few moments, before beginning to purr.

"She likes you." Melanie stated quietly. "Anyways, tomorrow let's see if we can get you some normal clothes. I can't stand all of those name brands either. T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. That's all I wear. Seems like being famous comes with a lot of rules."

Melanie shrugged before placing her hand down to the ground, letting Red scamper up her arm and onto her shoulder again. "It's pretty quiet out here, I couldn't stand your concert. All those girls screaming... I think I still have ringing in my ears." Melanie frowned.

  • OOC:
Ahhhh no it's fine! ; v ; I can change it! I've been meaning to use a different color.

    IC:
"You don't know the half of it," He mumbled quietly, smiling sadly and petting Athena's head gently.
"Anyway. Food? I'm starved." It was as if a switch had flickered on in his head, and he was back to his snarky, rude ways with her. "I haven't eaten since like.. yesterday."
