• Even though people were gone attending the Choosing Ceremony, all was neither quiet nor still in the Pit. Children ran about screaming with laughter as they shot foam bullets at each other, a group of adults drank together near the chasm, and members all over the place were either working or enjoying themselves. A young man stood out above the rest, pacing impatiently. He was tired of waiting.
He checked his watch.
It was time.
Those who were returning from the Choosing Ceremony should be jumping onto the train pretty soon. The young man brought his fingers to his mouth and did a loud whistle, signaling the others to gather so they could help the transfers. He was eager to see who the first jumper would be.

Ellis bounced a little on the balls of his feet as he watched the train come increasingly closer. Wait.....wait........ Now! When it was time, the young teen ran forward and jogged alongside the train, his powerful legs helping him keep up with it long enough to jump on and pull himself into a car. Once he got himself situated, he had the sudden realization that the initiates might not be able to hop on with the same ease that he does. He didn't want anyone ending up factionless so early, so he stayed by the opening of the car he was in and held his hand out for anyone that needed it.

• I'm sick of looking for those heroes in the sky
To teach us how to fly
Together we cry, we cry

OOC: Here goes absolutely nothing

IC: Allayna saw the train speeding nearer and, as many of the new dauntless initiates ran to the train, the young blonde picked up speed as well. She began to sprint, her hair whipping around her thin face, but failing to distract her from the task at hand- not a surprise with her being an ex-candor. Allanya took her last strides before pushing off of the hard, dusty ground with her strong runner's legs and towards the opening of the speeding train.
She grasped for the handle, but it was far beyond her reach as she sailed toward the silver bullet. She landed inside with a metallic ping! on her left shoulder, causing a sharp bite of pain to race through her body. Quickly, she rolled further into the steely train car and into a sitting position. She reached her right arm across her body and pulled her blue cotton t-shirt away from her left shoulder, not shocked to see a quarter sized portion of her skin already turning a dark mixture of purple and blue. "Fun," she groaned under her breath as she roughly pushed herself from the cold floor and looked around at the other initiates that had made the jump.

There comes a time where every bird has to fly
At some point every rose has to die

• Ellis watched as more transfers piled into the train cars, some doing so successfully but most having some difficulty. Tough. If they wanted to be Dauntless, they would have to get used to doing what they are not prepared for. That was the fun of his faction. You never knew what was coming. The young man smiled a little to himself at this thought before returning his attention to the rest of the transfers, holding his hand out once more for anyone who might need it.

• Krystal waited patiently for the train to pass, waiting for the right moment. As the opening neared, she flung herself at it, the wind whipping at her face, as she tumbled onto the floor. She sighed with relief. Nailed it, she thought with triumph. Brushing off her gray sweatpants, she smiled. Clinging to a metal pole in the train car, she gazed around, looking at the others with curiosity.

She had heard of the Dauntless initiation, and fully intended to be the first one to jump from the building. But first she had to get onto the train. Remy looked at the train, and then jumped. The idea of missing was real, but the fear behind it wasn't. So she landed some-what gracefully and then looked around the train. She gave a slight tip of the head to the others, and then sat down against a wall.

There- that wasn't so bad, right?

• OOC: So I think I'm just going to get all of the threads to move on. I'm tired of waiting on everybody.

IC: Once everyone had boarded the train, Ellis pulled his hand back in and watched as the landscape in front of him whizzed by as the train made its way closer and closer to Dauntless Headquarters. The young man looked over his shoulder at the initiates that he would be training with within a few weeks. He knew there were more in the other cars, but he still wanted to get a good idea of the competition. Not that he would have much trouble becoming a member. He was Dauntless through and through, anyone could see that. Even the nice Amity man who did his Aptitude Test noticed it. Ellis felt himself smile at this. He wore this small smile on his face for the rest of the ride.

Remy looked at the others, keen eyes observing a slouched shoulder on one girl- she had some issues with self-confidence, and a boy with tapping feet- obviously very nervous. She herself was a stone statue- unmoving, cold, and seemingly emotionless. She was really just thinking about how many of these guys would still be alive by the end of the week. She had no doubt that she would live through it, of course.

Allayna walked over to Ellis, the only person of real interest to her in their train car; not for his looks, but his confidence, mind you. "Hi," she said once she stood several feet from him, wondering if he would even care to take notice of her.

When you work really hard for something only to watch it slip through your fingers like mist~

"I've been ignoring this big lump in my throat.
I shouldn't be crying, tears were for the weak.
The days I'm stronger. Now what? So I say,
'But something's missing.'

Whatever it is, it feels like
It's laughing at me through the glass of a two-sided mirror.
Whatever it is, it's just laughing at me
And I just wanna scream.

What now? I just can't figure it out.
What now? I guess I'll just wait it out.
What now?! What now?!

I found the one, he changed my life.
But was it me that changed
And he just happened to come at the right time?
I'm supposed to be in love
But I'm numb again.

Whatever it is, it feels like
It's laughing at me through the glass of a two-sided mirror.
Whatever it is, it's just sitting there laughing at me
And I just wanna scream.

What now? I just can't figure it out.
What now? I guess I'll just wait it out.
What now?! Please tell me!
What now?!

There's no one to call 'cause I'm just playing games with them all.
The more I swear I'm happy, the more that I'm feeling alone.
'Cause I spent every hour just going through the motions.
I can't even get the emotions to come out.
Dry as a bone, but I just wanna shout:

What now? I just can't figure it out.
What now? I guess I'll just wait it out.
What now?! Somebody tell me!
What now?!

[b] I don't know where to go.

His gaze fell upon a transfer dressed in Abnegation grey. "Hey there!" he responded with a friendly smile. He might have been just a tad loud, but that's Ellis. "I'm Franklin, but you can call me Ellis if you want." He almost held out his fist for a fist bump, but he had to remind himself that he was Dauntless and this girl came from Abnegation, so she was most likely unacquainted with things like this. Instead, he just leaned against the side of the train car and waited for her to respond.[/fancypost]

ic-- Krystal sighed softly to herself, leaning against the bar and watching small conversations stir up.

Damion smiled lightly to himself, sitting on the hard seat in the train car. He was growing bored and restless, fiddling with his fingers as that was all he could think of to do. He wasn't exactly in the mood of socializing at the moment.

Allayna nodded, holding back every temptation she had to shake his hand like a true Candor was; it was time to break free of what she no longer was. "And I'm..." She paused, not knowing if she really wanted to keep the name of Allayna Reese. "I'm Rea." Rea. This is who she would be for the rest of her life.

Remy looked over as a girl who was from Candor- Rea, apparently- start talking to a boy named Ellis. Remy assumed she had made up the name, based on her slight pause, but she didn't blame her- new beginnings and all that. Hmm, that was a good idea. Start friendships now- better to have to break them that try in vain to make new ones. Alright, that was a bit of a morbid way to think about it, but that was how Remy saw these things. She stood, more-or-less accustomed to the bouncing of the train, and walked to the nearest person to her. Well, second closest. There was a boy near to her, but she could tell from his posture that he wasn't up for conversation, so she walked to a girl and said, "Hi. I'm Remy." Her voice was heavy and monotone- strange coming out of he slender body. She didn't know, but the girl she was talking to was named Krystal.

ic-- Krystal glanced her way, smiling a little to acknowledge her introduction. "Hey, I'm Krystal," she replied, lacing a finger behind a strand of hair and putting it behind her ear. "Nice to meet you. So are you going to go for Dauntless too?"

Remy, whilst the other girl was talking, watched how she acted. Casual movements, smiling, etcetera. So, Remy should probably be friendly and kind in order to make this conversation work. Rather than making a sarcastic remark about going to Dauntless, she said, "Yeah. I'm originally from Amity, so this is a pretty big step." Well, not really, but it got conversation going. Plus, she was wearing Amity read and yellow, but her interests were more oriented towards keeping up a conversation.
