  • [font=times new roman]He hopped up onto her desk, curling up over whatever stuff was there and shoving things off with his hind legs. "Try to get some rest. I know I am, too."

  • "Yeah, sure thing. G'night," Joey called back; however, she had no intentions of sleeping anymore. She was wide awake now--there was no way she would get to sleep. Of course, she knew she would regret it come morning. She climbed into her bed, slipping under the covers in her clothes, and simply stared up at the ceiling.

  • [font=times new roman]He looked up, finding her eyes to be open and not closed. "Why aren't you sleeping?" He asked, standing up to get a better look at her. He flicked his cat tail back and forth, trying to focus his attention on her and not his tail. "You nearly passed out on the stairs."

  • Joey simply shrugged in response to Tynan's words, continuing to stare at the ceiling.

"It's been an interesting night. I think that my mind has just decided to stop and process it all." She glanced over at him, giving him a questioning you. "What's your excuse?"

  • [font=times new roman]OOC: guess who has two thumbs and just decided to pay $5 a month for a dumb subscription to CaptainSparklez? This girlll~

IC: "I'm still tired," He said quietly, "I just wanna make sure you get some sleep. Days with me are exhausting, it would seem." He gave her a simple smile.

  • ooc;; stupid? psshh. Sparklez is totally worth the 5 bucks :D

ic;; Joey couldn't help but return his smile.

"Don't worry. A few cups of coffee in the morning and I'll be as good as new," she promised. Once she had her coffee, it would indeed be like she had gotten a full night's rest; however, dealing with her before she downed her cup of java would be the hard part.

"Trust me, I've had plenty of exhausting days and long nights. Life with you just makes them a bit more interesting," she remarked.

  • [font=times new roman]OOC: I was just getting so flustered by the subscribers on twitch because he replied to them and sung the songs that they requested so I took out my wallet and here I am xD

IC: "Coffee," He echoed, looking up and around, wondering if maybe she had any posters or anything that maybe told him what that was. "Uhm, me too. Of course, coffee, right. I eat it every day." He lied, trying to play it off like he wasn't as human-stupid as he was.

  • ooc;; i'm sure it'll pay off. when you're sitting at your computer being serenaded by Mr. Sparklez, you'll know that it was worth it xD

ic;; Joey raised a brow at his statement, suppressing a laugh.

"Is that so? Well if I had known you liked coffee so much, I would've gotten you some by now," she said, grinning. "In fact...I'll get you some first thing in the morning. Who needs breakfast when you can just eat a few grains of coffee, right?"

  • [font=times new roman]OOC: I know omg and I'm also considering buying the $40 bundle but I'm not really sure yet :P

IC: Tynan nodded his little cat head. "Oh yeah," He bragged, "The crunch really wakes me up. I mean who doesn't like coffee right? It's-it's so sweet and sour like salami."

  • ooc;; ooh I haven't heard about that yet. What's it all about? It must be really awesome to be $40

ic;; Joey snickered at his words, pushing herself up into a sitting position.

"For sure. That's what I like most about it. The taste of salami really wakes you up in the morning," she said, laughing between her words.

  • [font=times new roman]OOC: You get a tshirt, signed CD, and a poster :3

IC: Tynan didn't understand her laughter so he tipped his head to the side, lowering his ears, squinting at her and trying to silently figure it out. Finally, he just let out a sigh and said, "I actually have no idea what coffee even is."

  • ooc;; ooh that sounds awesome :D

ic;; Joey grinned, folding her arms across her chest.

"For starters, it tastes nothing like salami." She collapsed back down onto her bed again, lying on her stomach now.

  • [font=times new roman]Tynan shrugged. "I'm lucky I know what salami," He laughed, "If we hadn't gone to that deal-ee I would never have known." Of course, he meant 'deli' but he couldn't remember the exact term, so he went with whatever he could remember. "Maybe I could try some coffee tomorrow..?"

  • "The deli," Joey corrected him, still grinning. "Of course you can try some coffee." She rolled over onto her back, staring at the ceiling so that she didn't have to stare at the talking cat Tynan. If she wasn't looking at him, she could at least imagine that he wasn't a tiny grey kitty.

"And ice cream. And spaghetti. And tacos. Chocolate. Waffles. Bacon...." she paused, yawning, before continuing to list foods, but a little more quietly now. "Doritos. Chicken alfredo. Hamburgers...."

  • [font=times new roman]"Sounds great," He laughed, resting his head on his paws. "Y'know, you'd think I'd be more used to this sort of body, but I like being a human a lot."

  • Joey smirked, closing her eyes.

"Yeah. I like you a much better as a human, too." A few moments of silence went by, when suddenly, her eyes flew open and she rolled back over onto her stomach, shooting him a sheepish look.

"I mean, you know. Because it's--it's much more normal than a uh... talking cat," she said, giving a small, awkward laugh.

  • [font=times new roman]Tynan laughed, shutting his little cat mouth and clacking his incisors together happily. "I would be human, but I'm very tired at the moment and I don't feel like getting in trouble with your folks."

  • Joey smirked, collapsing back down onto her bed and relaxing some.

"Good call," she said, closing her eyes again and letting out a yawn.

"If you're so tired, you should get to sleep. I'm not so sure that coffee will have the same effect on you as it does on me." She shrugged. "We'll see."

  • "Night," Joey said softly, letting out another yawn. She rolled over, closed her eyes, and waited for sleep to come.
