[font=times new roman]Tynan glanced over at her, staring for a while. He felt a smile creeping onto his features, and suddenly he felt at home. It hadn't taken him long to realize that even though he hadn't known this girl long, he had gotten to know her, and trust her, and enjoy her company enough to call her his new home. Where ever she was, he knew he would feel safe. His old home wasn't a home to begin with. He felt a fuzzy feeling in his stomach and he hugged himself in his jacket to keep the chills from dancing up his spine. He looked up at the cab driver and said quietly, "I'm sorry I was being so loud, sir." To which he responded,
"It's all right, boy. You two are an interesting couple o' kids. I hope ya do learn more about America, because you seem an all right guy in the head so far. Hell, I've only known you about an hour and I think so. Even though your yammering was a pain in my ass, I've gotta say, you're not gonna suck." With that, he took a few more turns and shut his mouth again. Tynan smiled. He assumed 'not sucking' at something meant being good at it, so he was glad he had made another friend.
"I don't suck," I murmured proudly, puffing out his chest and looking out the window.
