  • [font=Arial Narrow]Intruder! There was an intruder on the border! He could smell the warrior's scent, foreign and strong in the midst of Rushingclan's territory. Creeping forward on his paws as lithe as his canine body would allow him to go, Hennessy's lips drawled back, a low snarl rumbling in his throat. He was getting closer, he knew it, for he could see the warrior's muscular build. He would be a tough opponent, that was for sure. But now that he was here, he couldn't back down. Show him that you're an anti-clanner, he growled to himself silently in his head.
Then, thrusting his sharp sleek muzzle forward, the pup snarled,"What are you doing on Rushingclan territory?!"

"No. no, no," he chided to himself, muttering under his breath as he backed away from the warrior. Then, trying again, he pup this time had his back fur raised, making an illusion that the foreigner was facing a larger opponent. "State your name, and your business," he growled, his mouth foaming.

"Ugh," he muttered to himself, backing away again. This wasn't working, but he had to keep at it, at least for now until he got the hang of it.

  • Glancing on her brother, she wondered what he was doing. It looked like he was practicing something. He was saying something about 'What are you doing on RushingClan territory?" Or something like that. Looking around to see if anyone was trying to join, the stealth-walker sniffed the air. Maybe he was just practicing but why would you practice the questions for joining. It was just a simple question. Well you could put it differently but LuminousHeart didn't always get her brother.

Well he looked pretty scary but privately the white cat thought that looking scary was bad. They wanted to welcome cats in, not scare them away. But then again that was what she thought and they thought differently. But now LumiousHeart was really curious to see what was going on. "What ya doing?" she asked.

  • [font=Arial Narrow]The bed ragged cream pup turned to his older sister, then smiled. "Practicing. I sorta took Jollyrodger and Coldstar's words to heart. But don't worry, it's sorta just for show. I'll still be me," he promised, looking towards the landscape beyond the white she-cat's shoulder. I'll still be me, he promised himself silently. I'll always be me. I promise.
Looking back up at Lumninousheart, the pup's tail began to wag again. "We have to keep Rushingclan strong. We're an anti-clan..." What was he even saying, babbling all of this nonsense? "But we're like other clans too. We defend our territory, our family sorta thing.

  • Boulderfang had been out on a walk, wondering about this whole Anti-Clanner thing and how Coldstar had advocated the arrogant stealth-walker, Jollyrodger and not his deputy and his own laws. Surely to make an Anti-Clan an Anti-Clan they had to be fierce to their enemies right? But what about their allies, let alone their own Clanmates. Boulderfang let out a frustrated growl, his tail whipping back and forth, if only he could make them see!

Boulderfang's ears twitched as he listened to a nearby conversation. Hennessy and Luminousheart, discussing the topic which had frustrated him so? Boulderfang slithered out from the nearby bush, his stormy blue eyes seemed to be made up of steel.

"You're quiet right, Hennessy. But we ARE an Anti-Clan we're just like that, not Clan at all, it just seems to be that everyone believe Anti-Clans are ruthless and barbaric towards each other, which they're not. We need to be ruthless, yes, but it seems some are showing attitude to the wrong people, allies at the most."

  • What her two clanmates were saying were totally true. But she still worried about Hennessy, she didn't want him turning into a killer. He was just a pup, was he really ready for this? "You two are right. RushingClan might be an anti-clan but that doesn't mean we have to mean to our clan-mates. We should only be ruthless and mean to our enemies, not out allies." she meowed, dipping her head in respect to BoulderFang.

"Also, just maybe we should be nice to cats who need our help. We are a clan, not a group of barbaric cats who kill everyone we see." she continued after a momment delay.

  • [font=Arial Narrow]Hennessy nodded to Boulderfang's and Lumn's words, seeing where the deputy came from. "I agree," he barked after pausing for a mere moment. "So what makes us different from regular clans," he asked the older high positions. It had never exactly occurred to him just how different, or how similar an anti-clan was, compared to a normal clan. Well, there were some obvious differences, but just how different were they?

Donatelllo walked through his territory searching for prey. He stopped when he heard the sounds of his clanmates speaking and followed. Curious about the subject on hand he asked, "Whats going on here?", casually.

  • [font=Arial Narrow]"Hey, Donatello, we were just talking about regular Clans and Anti-clans," the cream pup replied, his dark brown optics glittering with feverish excitement. The masked dog's bushy tail swung to and fro in a wagging fashion.
Raising his hind paw, the pup scratched an itchy spot that was located behind his right ear, the one that had been itchy for quite some time.

  • Boulderfang felt his ears burn as Luminousheart dipped her head to him, to which he nodded in response to her. After a moment of questioning silence in between their conversation, Luminousheart added onto her statement, to which he nodded grimly in agreement to. Boulderfang sat down, his tail curling around his paws, tightly. Hennessy asked a question, and the deputy flicked his stormy blue eyes over to the new stealth-walker.

"I guess its the stereotypes that divide us, or the enemies and allies that we have, but all in all, we function exactly the same, they have leaders, deputies and extra positions, they have rules, just like us. Maybe Anti-Clans are a tiny bit more ferocious and barbaric, but no doubt that Pro-Clans can be just as cruel, but they have a code that keeps that at bay."

Boulderfang meowed, shrugging. What did he mean by Pro-Clans living up to cruelty? Well, the tom had been alive in the Bloodclan raid when Solarstar had been killed by the Windclan deputy, Plasmaflare. That had been an example of gore on the Pro-Clans part. Boulderfang snorted frustration.

  • "That's not right," the pup growled, shaking his head from side to side. Then, he sighed softly.

  • Boulderfang nodded in agreement to Hennessy, yet containing his anger inside, or trying his best to keep his reigns on such emotion.

    "I know."

    Boulderfang meowed, sighing.

  • That was all true, it was sickening, really. She was disgusted from how pro-clanners acted like they had a code and they were noble cats while they were just as bad as BloodClan. Without their code, they would just be a bunch of rouges. But RushingClan was different. They might be an Anti-clan but they were a clan and acted like a clan. "It's sickening when you think about it" she meowed.

  • "..." Hennessy stopped, then plopped himself onto the ground feeling somewhat defeated. "Well, I suppose we'll have to get ready for the kit raids," he murmured, changing the subject. His voice was dull, neither excited or happy about this. Especially because this would be his first time, it made him... uncomfortable.

  • Boulderfang looked to Hennessy as the new stealth-walker eased into his haunches in a resigning manner. The grey maine coon looked up to the stars, to his ancestors, to what he still believed in.

"I will not take part in any kit-raids, I do not believe in tearing families apart, nor do I take joy in it."

Boulderfang meowed, looking to the ground. Those kits being stolen away from their families were only being brought here to be raised up as little monsters.

Donatello listened to Boulderfang and suggested, "Well I suggest you do if you want to keep your rank." He wasn't being rude and understood the feline's feelings. He just knew that Coldstar would not like his anti-clan to have a deputy that did not go on kit-raids.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width 280px]"There's nothing wrong with Boulderfang's opinion, so you may as well quiet," The sister of Coldstar demanded as she lurched over to protect the deputy, her ears flattened against her nimble lilac head."Besides, he does have a point." Her protest was over and as she dug her claws into the soil she grumbled.

  • Chemical's just blinked at the deputy - they were an Anti Clan, not some kittypet shitgroup. She shrugged, but said nothing. He was deputy after all.

  • Boulderfang nodded thankfully to Dontello, he valued all advice, but this was not his position at stake. The scarred deputy looked over to the she-cat that had appeared to his defense, and he nodded at her in appreciation despite the fact he didn't want his beliefs to cause an arguement, they were all clanmates here.

"Its ok guys, we all have our own beliefs, some may enjoy it, some may not."

    Boulderfang meowed.
