Mochapaw took a deep breath, relishing in her freedom. She was out hunting with her den-mate, and the day was already perfect. A gentle breeze ruffled through her longish brown pelt, and her blue eyes sparkled in excitement. They'd already caught a squirrel and mouse between them, and general excitement tingled in her paws. It was probably the knowledge of the upcoming warrior ceremony for her, she couldn't wait.

(That's just the first post (ik it's short!), please respond to that along with a wee bit about your tom :D, I'd also like him to be an apprentice or a very new warrior. btw, that's her pic : D)

  • Lionpaw took long strides, his golden fur gleamed as the sun shinned off it. His blue eyes sparkled as he continued his walk. Being clumsy, and not paying attention lionpaw tripped over a tree root and tumbled down a hill. Dodging tree by tree he reached the bottom of the little hill. He looked around with a small laugh and wondered if anyone saw him. That's when he saw Mochapaw. "Hey" he smiled slightly embarrassed

Moachapaw purred in amusement, her eyes alight with laughter. Her ears pricked forward at the sound of possible game, but flicked back toward Lionpaw after a second.
"So, what new," She paused for emphasis, "Amazing battle moves have you learned recently?"
    She asked with mock sincerity.
(Sorry, I have to go to bed!)

  • ((OOC: Ok night xD))

Lionpaw laughed "Yah I learned how to fall down hills and get embarrassed." He flicked his ear and lifted his paw to pick a piece of dirt oh his claw. He licked his paw quickly and put his paw down. "what have you learned?" He asked with amusement hinting at his voice. No matter how much he tried, he could never impress her.

    "Nice move then."
Mochapaw commented with a mrrow of amusement. Her tabby ears flicked and her green eyes sparkled with laughter over the toms discomfort. She paused to groom her already perfect chest fur with her pink tongue.
"Nettlespots (her mentor) taught me this twisty claw move thing, to tell you the truth I still suck at it."
Mochapaw confessed. She shivered slightly, the cold weather had already started to come and soon enough leaf-fall would be upon them. Her jaws opened in a wide yawn, she'd barely gotten any sleep last night because of her snoring litter-mate.

  • He laughed slightly and said "Oh don't worry because that twisty rolly thing was defenetly a move." He was swirling his paw in the air as he explained "Twisty rolly thing" and he laughed slightly. Putting his paw down he flicked his ear at the new feeling of cold. He would miss the long days of basking in the light, and freshkill. He smiled slightly looking across the way at some ferns that wouldn't be there in a few days

Mochapaw purred, her green eyes sparkling with laughter at her den-mate. The birds chirped in the crisp air all around her, and for once she could feel the slight bite in it. Her pelt fluffed up to keep her warmer, with a pang she thought of the lazy summer days with the sun washing over her pelt. Suddenly her tabby ears flicked up and her head jerked to the cracking sound. Mouse.
    "Lionpaw, look straight ahead."
Mochapaw hissed quietly to him. Her tabby pelt smoothed down and she dropped into a flawless hunting crouch, one of her forte's, and started to stalk toward the grey pelt. She made a wide circle around it, making sure to stay downwind of it, and was prepared to flush it towards Lionpaw. She hesitated a moment, flicking her tail so he knew what she was doing. She took a deep breath, and burst out of the underbrush and darted for the mouse. She yowled and her pelt fluffed up again, hoping that would add a scary effect, as she drove the thing toward Lionpaw.

  • Lionpaw ran fast towards the crashing noise, knowing to stay low he crept forward, paw after paw hurrying when the sound got closer. His yellow pelt should stick out but who knows, maybe this will work.
He waiting until the sound was right beside her and jumped at the mouse, hitting it to the side. The hit left a mark but the mouse just lay stunned not dead

Mochapaw's paws thrummed the ground in steady beats. Quickly she darted forward and slammed a paw on the stunned mouse, quickly nipping it at the base of it's neck. Pride rushed through her, she always loved the thrill of the hunt, a friend along made it even better. Warm sun washed over her pelt, and for a second she was tempted to snatch the mouse up and it eat it right hten and there, but she restrianed herself and instead flicked her toungue over her paws.
    "Great catch!"
Mochapaw purred. After all, he'd knocked it out. Chill started to penetrate through her fluffy pelt, and she tilted her pale green eyes toward the sky. The sun was rapidly sinking and traces of pinks and oranges were starting to appear. The hum of insects reverberated throughout the peaceful territory, today was absolutely perfect. Mochapaw yawned, then got to work covering up the prey with dirt. Hopefully they'd be able to find something else, if not her mentor might not be to happy.
"It's getting late, Lionpaw. Should we split up and meet back here before it gets dark?"
Mochapaw suggested. Secretly she was hoping for some time by herself to think. It wouldn't be to terrible if the yellow furball tagged along though, she mused with a slight chuckle.

  • "Yah sure" he purred as he traced a paw over the ground anxiously. He looked at the setting sun and realized that it would be cold soon. He gave one last small glance at the apprentice friend of his before turning and running into the wild. His blue gaze swept across the shadows that were appearing from the trees overhead. He shook his fur and shivered. The crisp cold night air was already taking place as he padded forth. Wait, what am I doing again? Oh hunting.

Mochapaw purred to Lionpaw, hesitating for a second to look back then proceeding forward at a brisk trot. Her shadow was growing longer and longer, and finally she managed to find a thrush, but her mind wasn't really on it. She'd sensed something was up with Lionpaw. She purred at the memory of when he was born, she was only about a moon then, ever since then they'd been friends. Lately, though, he'd been acting stranger and for the life of her the she-cat couldn't figure it out.
She sensed a border coming up, so she quickly backtracked and began to make her way back as the sun sank even more. The sky was alight with colors, pale pinks, soft oranges and fiery yellows. The yellow reminded her of Lionpaw a bit. The distracted cat trotted through the undergrowth, not noticing all of the scurrying animals about.

  • ((OOC I am so sorry for the short post, I am really busy (derp)))

Lionpaw had finished burying his freshkill, but only to figure out it was alive still. Idiot he thought as he swished his paw at it killing it before it emerged from the dirt he was buried in. He shook his fur. Again. And looked towards the setting sun. He smiled slightly as the bright warms colours faded away to bring darkness to their world. He picked up the freshkill he buried and padded back to the spot they were meeting, why not? He padded dodging branches, and ducking under low hanging leaves. Shaking his pelt. Again. He got to there meeting spot

Mochapaw's soft pastel colored eyes stood out against the darkening landscape. Her pelt was filthy, entwined with twigs and bits of leaves and moss. She shook herself, ridding herself of a few scraps of stuff. She could scent Lionpaw now, so she continued to push her way through the underbrush. It snagged and tore at her bothersome tabby pelt, but all the same she still loved it. It's soft fluffiness kept her warm on chilly nights, like this one was going to be.
Mochapaw hesitated for a second, mischief glowing in her pastel orbs, then gathered her haunches under her. Her tail flicked and she could finially make out a yellow pelt. Silently she shifted her weight evenly, then crouched low to the ground. A tiny hiss escaped her as a warning, then she lept strongly out to barrel her den-mate over. She yowled with mock anger, hoping she'd managed to scare him.
Claws in she landed nimbly beside him, glowing with pleasure and very proud of herself.
    "Did I scare you?"
    She asked with excitement.

  • Lionpaw flew backwords with a loud yowl. His eyes almost flew out of his head as a hiss hit him and he looked at her stunned. Clawing at a root he pretended he hadn't been scared. "No" he said abruptly and looked away blushing. Scardy cat he mocked himself before smiling and looking at her. "No catch?""
