    "They didn't have to kill him." said Lanna.

    Glad that Polar caught the prey he barked back, "Wait! There seems to be some rabbits in the hole, too." Turning back he dug his muzzle in, breathing in the scent he made enough room to fit his head.
    There, were 4 small rabbits cowering from his breath and cornered at the very back of the hole.

    "There's four!" He called, pulling his head out. Digging furiously, the thought of starvation giving him the motivation. Pushing his head forward and a little bit of his body he snapped his jaws over two and killed them. Dragging them out, letting the warm blood soak into the snow he went back and killed the other two.
    Just barely getting all four in his mouth he met the warrior. Raising a brow in a somewhat teasing manner.

    Polar just puffed, "Good one", he congratulated trying not to let Zeros better hunting skills bother him. "Smell anything else, or shall we take this back and then continue our hunt?"



    "Oh but they did have to kill him, for that was the law in that pack at the time. Besides she was the Alphas daughter and he wa not very happy about it", Nova said.

    Zero's nose was cold, his joints ached. He hated running in snow. Of all things.
    Shaking his head he grunted through a mouthful of rabbit fur, doubting Polar could understand him.
    "Let's take this back. We can come back later and see if there are any deer around."

    "Ok", Polar sad somewhat understanding his den-mate. Pushing through the ankle high snow Polar lead te way back to camp.

    Nova was standing guard at the camps enterance when she heard the sund of pawsteps. She gave a low growl but then stoped when the scents of Polar and Zero hit her nose along with the scent of prey. As the approached she smiled at their catch, "Bury them in the snow store",she told them.

    Personality: Sweet,kind, but with a quick temper at some times. Doesn't particularly like pups.
    Breed: Timber Wolf
    Description: A brown/tan color with a lighter tan chest belly, tail tip and ear tips. Aquamarine eyes and a thin lean body, equipped for running.
    Mate/Crush:None
    Pups: None
    Other:used to be a lone wolf joined when young but is rarely mocked by her loner roots.

    Nodding he flicked his tail in good-bye to Polar and Nova, following his nose to the snow store. Digging slowly with his frozen paws he dropped all the rabbits he caught in. The scent still fresh and blood on his muzzle, licking away the last few drops. Pushing the snow back on top of the rabbits he felt his stomach rumble.
    Not yet. He reminded himself, looking towards Polar and speaking,
    "I'm going out for another hunt." Almost as if asking for permission he waited.

    Accepted, but i would rather have a wolf older than 3 years be a beta, if you want him to be beta he will have to be older.

    Polar saw Jiox and padded up to him, "Hey you wanna join me and Zero hunting?", he asked the beta lowering his head in respect as he approached.


    Nova layed down next to the camp enterace mind swirling. She missed her mate dearly but she knew that she would soon have to choose another. Not only would her choice be her mate he would also have to be Alpha Male, and be able to keep the position. Sighing she let her thoughts take over her mind.

    Shaking herself out of her thoughts Nova saw Moonracer looking up at the darkly clouded sky. "What is it?", she asked wondering if the Neime was sending then a sign through the clouds.

    Moonracer jumped slightly when Nova spoke to her. " Nothing really...well there is something but I don't think the message is for us. You don't need to worry at all." She glanced at Nova. " Well, also I think that you should know that a large snowstorm is coming soon. Larger then they have normally been." Moonracer looked into the swirling depths of the clouds once more and a strange look misted over her eyes.

    Zero flicked his tail impatiently, while they were dawdling here the prey could be hidden in the dens and holes already.
    "Alright let's go, before all the prey disappears." He breaks the silence with his voice, Noticing Joix his ears twitched.
    His paws drawing circles in snow, expecting Polar or Joix to lead.
