Miroku flicked his tail in greeting. "So where are we headed Mariah?" Mariah shrugged. "Shelter. An overhang, possibly at that Italian resteraunt with the nice people." She replied.

"I vote restaurant!" Miroku said quickly, raising his paw. Mariah giggled. "Kay. Follow me." The male followed his sister.

Light charged after them."So were going to a...restaurant?"He didn't know much about human things.

"A place humans go when they don't want to make their own food." Mariah explained, walking across the street with Miroku in tow.

Light followed behind."Oh thats what it is."He sped up so he wouldn't fall behind.

Miroku saw the glowing sign of the restaurant. "There it is!" He yipped, perking up instantly. Mariah followed as he started running.

Light tried to go even faster."Wait for me!!"He yelled after them tiredly.

Miroku skidded to a stop in the middle of the road. Mariah opened her mouth to call out, but all that came was a loud scream as a car whizzed by, hitting the male mutt.
