    Splashstar sighed as she rested near the shore of the floating island, with Reedtail by her side. His warmth surrounded her, but she still felt cold. Splashstar hadn't even told Slywater that her and Reedtail were mates, let alone she was expecting kits! Her mate dosent even know there was two tiny bodies squirming inside of Splashstar. If only she could tell Slywater what was going on without him getting upset.

    Slywater dived into the water, and opened his jaws. He felt a surge of satisfaction as he felt a fish slide into his mouth. He bit down and killed the small bass, then headed for open air. "Hey Splashstar, look!" He called as he paddled towards shore.

    Splashstar forced a weak smile to spread accross her face. "Great!" She purred happily. "Just remember that Leaf fall is around the corner, don't catch too much." The leader reminded Slywater once again. Splashstar couldn't blame him. She hated eating the plants in the lake, it made her stomach want to explode from the bitterness.

    OkSlywater knew that her reminder was a bit far fetched. He knew Splashstar would trade seeweed for fish any day, though he didn't dare say it aloud. "Ok." He mewed. He looked into the mocking water and saw a shadow nested deep in the water. At first the shape confused him, then realization hit him like an enemies attack. [b]Muskie![b] he thought gleefuly. "Hey splashstar, Muskie!" He told her. He knew a muskies bite could be nasty, so thy allways hunted them in pairs. He also knew that his carefree leader loved to catch the huge fish. "Come help me catch it! It will feed us all Leaf-bare!" Slywater mewed enthuseasticly.

    Splashstar shuffled back slightly and shook her head. "Er, no thanks?" She mumbled as the leader's eyes widened at the massive fish. She didn't dare to dip her head under the water when she was carrying kits, even the slightest thing could disrupt them.
