Sun was holding her breath, her eyes shut closed. Tears filled her eyes and she hugged her sister, letting the breath go, "No! No I'm not ok!"
-
Artemis let out a slow brath, hugging her sister closely.
"Shh. That's it, get your tears out. "She encouraged soothingly. -
A steady stream of tears came down her face as the memory flashed through her mind repeatedly. Finally she calmed down enough to ask, "How do you get rid of memories you need to forget?"
-
Artemis sighed.
"I don't know. I usually have each memory stowed away in the back of my mind, but I still remember them all. I think you just have to learn to bear it."
although.......
Something nagged at her subconsious. She couldn't remember how they had gotten out here, or why she had destroyed suns phone. What had set her off? She tried to sift through her memories, but found nothing. -
"When dad left...." Sun muttered. "It keeps on playing in my mind." her voice wavered again. "That b****** used to beat me, then expected me to care for two infants at 5 years old." she cried again. Suck it up! That was long ago! she scolded herself.
-
Artemis sighed.
"I'm so sorry he took you. Mother was always caring i n her own way- strict, but sweet. She was a practiced midwife and rebel leader. " artemis shook her head. "She couldn't stand to give us both up. I think our father convinced her that it was too dangerous for a baby to stay with her- he never knew about me. Perhaps it was for the best, though. I've nearly died to many times to count. And if you think about it......it was better for a kind soul like yourself to care for them, rather than father raising them cruelly, don't you think? Everything happens for a reason." -
Sun felt more tears pierce her cheeks, "But I was always so hard on them..." she sighed. "I hope I'm not like that when I have a child of my own." she calmed herself again.
-
Artemis smiled wistfully.
"I'm not going to have a child. I wouldn't trust myself around her or him.but when you have a child, you will be an excelent mother. I'm sure of it- cause if you mess up, I will smack you upside the head," she teased lightly. -
Sun laughed, "Thanks." she smiled weakly. "And don't be too sure about not having any kids, I'm sure you will despite what you say now."
-
She rolled her eyes.
"No, I won't." She poked her sister in the side.
"After all, I can keep puck under control, and I have my step-siblings and hayley to deal with nowadays." -
Sun rolled her eyes back, "You never know what can happen when you get drunk!" she laughed. Her face then paled, "I'll be sure I'm not around when Flick's drunk."
-
Artemis scowled.
"Sis, in a relationship, you need to be i n charge. Don't run from flick when he's drunk, don't let him get drunk in the first place. If he loves you as much as he seems to, he will respect your wishes. And frankly, I'm never going to get drunk either. The last time I did that, I nearly shot myself in the foot." -
"I was meaning he can be a pervert without the help of alcohol." she said, facepalming. "Wait you've gotten drunk before?" she asked.
-
Artemis made a face.
"Once. Don't wanna talk about it. Did not end well."Ooc: Artemis actually will have a daughter, just letting you know.
-
"Question: How many did you have to drink?" Sun asked. "Because I know I can go a while before I get drunk." she said, "Don't ask how I know this."
OOC: YAY!
-
"Exactly twenty four shots." She muttered.
Ooc: or a son. I'm still thinking.
-
Sun laughed, "Twenty-eight." she chuckled. "You can take a punch, and I can hold my alcohol." she snickered.
-
Artemis scowled.
"Pfft. Shut up. I could have taken more." She protested, stubbornes getting the best of her. -
Sun rolled her eyes, "Wanna bet?" she challenged.
