-the sun touched my small paws, the warmth making me jump slightly. the sun warmed the earth in a welcoming hug as it slowly crept up the lightened sky. white streaked the sky in fluffy bundles, the clouds seemed to appear soft yet solid. the tree's silhouette still seemed frightening since the sun had not yet reached its high-point. something i would never understand, is how the sun rises, and falls in the same place every day. it amazed me as i stared up.
walking out of the small apprentice-den, my paws felt hot against the soft, damp dirt. nerves tingled and bubbled away at my stomach. who was to be my mentor? would any of the apprentices like me? i wouldn't know unless i dragged myself there today.
