    OOC: Welcome everyone who sigined up, students are arriving and getting settled into their dorms.


    IC: Pulling up to the parking lot of Brighton in her green KIA SUV Celia smiled looking back in her rear-view mirror at Lionel who was hopping around excitedly in the back seat. She found a parking spot quickly seeing how she was one of the first students to always arrive. She was sporting a pair of skinny jeans with flowy ivory colored blouse with burberry lipstick and and her new shoes she bought last week on amazon. She grinned as she fetched Lionel out of the back seat, hooking his collar up to his leash before opening up the back hatch of her KIA to retrieve her bags. She took in a deep breath, a new year and new adventures were ahead of her.

    So this was Brighton. Tezlyn pulled her black motorcycle to a stop in a parking space and killed the engine. She pulled the helmet off letting long white hair fall down her back. Grey-blue eyes looked up at the building before her. Her cousin had shipped her bags ahead of her since she couldn't possibly carry them on her bike. She only thing she carried with her was a backpack and a dog carrier that had been attached to the back of the bike seat so her little wolf/mutt mix puppy, Mooch, could ride with her. Speaking of Mooch.
    "Arf!!" Tezlyn looked over her shoulder as the puppy barked at her. "Alright Mooch." she said as she got off the bike. She tucked her helmet under her arm and opened the carrier. Mooch jumped out and bounced around her feet for a moment before looking up at her as if asking, "When are we going?". Tezlyn scratched the dog's ears before heading inside. Mooch followed on the heel of her black riding boots that had the leg of black jeans stuffed into them.
    Tezlyn looked the part of a biker girl with a dark blue tank top with a black bomber jacket over it, black jeans stuffed into boots, and black gloves. A pair of dog tags hung around her neck and she had two small silver hoods in each ear with a feather earring sticking out from the top of her left ear. Tezlyn ran a hand through her white-blonde hair before she opened a door and let Mooch hop in ahead of her. his would be.....new.

    Shawn let out a sigh before turning up the radio. The Mustangs engine roared as he sped into the parking lot, glad to finally be there he parked, grabbed his bags and headed toward the door. Groaning he turned around and grabbed the small bag in the front seat, that he nearly forgot, before walking toward the school once more.

    "Almost there Nix." November said while scratching the top of her black cats head. Purring the cat moved off the passengers seat and onto her lap, "There it is." She sighed as she pulled into the parking lot and parked beside an SUV, "Ouch, Nix!" November grimaced while her cat continued to dig his claws into her thigh, "That hurt." She scolded the cat before stepping out of the car and pulled her luggage from the backseat. She crated Nix, who didn't complain, before making the trek into the school.

    IC: Celia had already settled into her dorm and was now waiting in the main entrance of the school to greet the new students. Her ponytail bounced from side to side as she helped people them find their dorms or answer any questions they may have. A smile spread across her face as she handed out flyers and said hello to the students new and old, she now had a green Lions t-shirt on that has the words "Welcoming Committee" on the back.

    IC: Alec's Volkswagen van pulled into the parking lot, a wave of metal music following in it wake. Captain Squid hung his head happily out of the window his tongue lulled to the side. Alec sung to the lyrics and turned his steering wheel into a drum-set as he veered an open parking spot. He waited for the song to finish before hopping out, Captain close in tow. Alec circled around to the back of his van and opened the door with a sharp tug before it gave way, it was a little worse for ware but it got the job done. He had some of his recording equipment mixed in back with his suitcase. He lugged it out and set it down on the pavement, Captain Squid prancing around his feet excitedly. He went back to the front of the van and got his backpack which held his laptop and a few other things before scooping up Captain under his arm before heading inside.

    Tezlyn ✯ Rea ✯ Zanders


    Tezlyn was inside at the front desk, getting her dorm assignment and other school things when she heard the metal music from outside. She turned and peered out, hoping whoever it was wouldn't hit her motorcycle. Seeing the van, and her bike in one piece, she turned back to the map in hand. Mooch was running around, for the most part managing to stay out from under people's feet.
    Tezlyn never used a leash with Mooch. He generally stayed by her the whole time and she really didn't like the idea of putting a leash on him so that he could choke himself pulling against her. So no, she didn't use a leash. But today it seemed that Mooch was determined to knock someone over while Tezlyn wasn't looking.

    Tobias let out a sigh as he entered the school. Glancing around fellow classmates seemed to flood the halls in every direction, that included animals as well. Pulling his luggage he stepped forward, careful not to squash small animal paws on his way to getting his dorm number and key.

    November entered the school, nearly getting knocked over a few times, before she made it to the information desk. Nix started making his loud, annoyed cat noises while she talked to the woman. She let out a sigh before the woman handed her room key to her, "Thanks." She said but wasn't sure if the lady heard her due to the noise of the other students...now to find her room. Bravely she entered the sea of people, weaving quickly out of the way of the larger students so she wouldn't be knocked over and trampled.

    IC: "Hey there!" Celia said pulling on Novembers arm, in turn pulling her out of the way of some careless guy who might have other wised knocked her over. She laughed lightly but seemed relived, she didn't want anyone to get run over on the first day. "You alright?" She said smiling and extending her hand outward. "I'm Celia Green by the way."

    IC: As soon as he entered the main building Captain Squid started whining, barking and squirming to get out of Alec's arms. "Whoa there." He said being forced to set him down and he was off. Alec quickly ran after him abandoning his suitcase for the moment. Captain ran up to Mooch, the doberman pincher began wagging his tail and hopping about wanting to play. Alec almost ran into Tezlyn, "I am SO sorry." He said scooping Captain into his arms. "I don't know what got into him." He held him like a baby on it's back as Squid began licking his face fiercely. Alec gave an awkward half smile, trying to be apologetic.

    Tezlyn nearly jumped out of her skin. More from her fear then from the fact that he had taken her off guard while she was looking at her map. She jumped back a step, blinking at him before getting her fear under control. Mooch jumped up, putting his paws on Alec's leg and started whining before letting out a bark. He apparently wanted to play. "I-Its alright." Tezlyn told him. She had almost dropped her helmet in her surprise.
    "Mooch get down." Tezlyn told the puppy but the puppy sniffed Alec's pants leg and barked again before letting his tongue hang out of his mouth. The dog was suppose to be protecting Tezlyn, not making friends with complete strangers. Silly little mutt.
    Tezlyn's heart was still racing in her chest. Since her childhood she had been afraid of males. Usually she hid this well but he had taken her off guard and it was a bit harder to pull it back in. She knew not all guys would treat her the same way as her step-father and step-brothers had, but she couldn't control the fear she felt whenever a guy was too close to her. Mooch though seemed to like this guy and Tezlyn found his many tattoos pretty interesting and cool.

    IC: He laughed setting Captain down before taking one hand and scratching the back of his head before dropping it back to his side. "Sorry to surprise you like that." He said now looking more at the girl in front of him before glancing down at Mooch again. "This little guy got a name?" He asked giving Mooch's head a quick pat, animals seemed to take a liking to Alec which he liked, they're weren't nearly as judgmental about his appearance as people were. "This is Captain Squid," He said pointing to Captain who was sniffing Mooch and wagging his tail happily. "My names Alec McFlurr. Are you new here too?" He asked making a face. He was hoping to make some new friends since he literally didn't know anyone.

    Tezlyn let a small smile play on her lips at the name of the dog. "Yes I'm new." she told him as Mooch barked at Captain and wagged his tail. "I'm Tezlyn Rea Zanders. Just Tezlyn or Tezly will do. The furry guy is Mooch." Tezlyn added pointing at Mooch. Mooch ran up to her, barked at her, ran around her once and then went back to his new friend. "Captain Squid huh? I like it." Tezlyn added watching her dog with a small smile.
    She looked up at Alec, finding him looking at her rather then the dogs. "Really its no big deal with the surprise and all. You just....caught me off guard.....sort of." she said. She couldn't flat out lie and say that was all there was to it but she didn't really think her fear of males was a good way to start off a conversation because then that would lead to why she was a afraid of them and that was a conversation she wasn't ready to have.

    IC: "Tezlyn, don't think I've heard that one before," He mused. "As long as no harms done, and yeah Squidie here is something else." Captain rolled over on his back and squirmed a bit waiting for Alec to rub his belly to which Alec happily obliged using his other hand to scratch Mooches head. He gave a goofy grin. "I'm glad I didn't have to leave him at home, it's nice they allow pets here." His attempt at small talk.

    "I'm glad they allow them too. I don't think I could have left Mooch even if I wanted to. He has the nose of a hound and would have tracked me all the way across the country." Tezlyn replied watching Mooch roll onto his back to receive the same treatment as Captain. "He's my like guard dog...usually. He seems to like you though. I don't think my cousin could have handled him if I left him at home though." Tezlyn added as she watched the puppy's tail wag. "And yeah, my names a bit on the unusual side. My mother always thought it was funny when I would make faces at her for calling me Tezlyn Rea." she said with a soft smile on her face.
    "Nice tattoo job by the way. I don't think I could of had the courage to get so many. I have one and I don't think I could go get another one." she pointed out. She felt pretty okay with Alec as long as he didn't threaten her and she was pretty sure he wasn't the type. And Mooch really seemed to like him. That spoke wonders since Mooch usually didn't like that many people.

    IC: He was still crouched petting the pups when he laughed and scrunched his face up slightly. "Tezyln Rea, did you finish your homework!" He said teasingly in a woman esc voice. "Eh-Yeah I can see why, sounds super-proper, no offense of course. Better than Oscar Meyer or something..." He said half thinking out loud. "Thanks," He said hearing her comment about his tattoos. "I have a friend back home who is a tattoo artist so when I turned eighteen he started turning me into a human canvas, this ain't even half of them." He laughed waving at him neck and upper chest that was showing. "I'm like a god damn coloring book." He scoffed at his own remark. "I don't think they'd even let me on the swim team too distracting, wouldn't want to anyway would mess up my lovely locks." He joked, swishing his hair slightly. "So what do you have inked, if you don't mind me askin' that is."

    Tezlyn snorted. He kind of did sound like her mother just then. Her mother would do just that. It was always Tezlyn Rea this and Tezlyn Rea that. After a while she was determined never to have someone scold her and say "Tezlyn Rea!" ever again. He was right. It sounded way too proper. Even in her own ears and she had been listening to it since the day she was born. When the topic switched to the swim team and tattoos she let out another laugh. She wasn't use to laughing like this but he managed to pull it out of her. "I can see how it would be distracting. Especially to girls and yes, you have very lovely locks." she joked. She never joked!
    When he asked about her tattoo she knelled beside him tugging off the glove on her left hand. She then held out her arm, palm up, to show him the blue butterfly tattooed on the inside of her left wrist. It was all swirls and done in all blue. Below it, making it look like the butterfly was perched on it, was a date. "This is my only tattoo. I got it when I was fifteen." Tezlyn told him. Of course she hadn't had permission....but that was another story completely.

    IC: He rolled his eyes and wobbled his head from side to side. "Not quite that distracting." He turned his attention to Tezlyn's tattoo. "Wow, great color. Must have had some good connections, very pretty." he added smiling but he was looking at her face when he said it and caught himself doing so before she had a chance to notice. "I don't quite have any butterflies, nothing that pretty. I have some pretty goofy ones though." He said showing her his knuckles and palms.

    IC: Alec laughed, "They're stupid I know, and they fade super fast but they were good for a laugh." He admitted a little embarrassed. "I mean who else has a zombie cat on their palm eh?" A grin spread across his face again.

    Tezlyn smiled brightly and couldn't help a small laugh at the tattoos. He was right. She certainly hadn't ever seen anyone else with a zombie cat on their hand....or anywhere else for that matter. "I like the High Five one the best, very original, but the zombie cat is pretty cool too. Defiantly rare that one." she told him while Mooch nudged Captain, wanting to play. "Mine has a very special meaning though. So its not so much its beauty that is the reason I got it." Tezlyn added as she looked down at the tattoo on her wrist.
    She had a fond, but sad smile on her face as she ran a finger over the tattoo, her fingers lingering on the date. "My mother loved butterflies and blue was one of my father's favorite colors." Tezlyn added without thinking. Usually she stayed away from this subject but it was true and Tezlyn didn't like to lie. It was stupid really. Trying to remember a lie made her head hurt.

    IC: He nodded understandingly, and dropped the subject seeing her mood change so rapidly because of the topic. Captain hopped up on his hind legs and gave chase to Mooch, almost like they were playing tag together. "Looks like someone made a friend." He said cheerfully watching the two puppies play. "I'm glad Captain found a playmate- Oh shit, my bag." He said said, face-palming himself for having forgotten about it at the doors. "I'm gonna get that before someone else claims it, can you watch Captain for a sec?" He said standing up again, looking over the other students to see if his bag was still where he had last left it.

    Sierra got out of her yellow convertible, blonde hair swaying in the wind. She looked down at her outfit and then looked up again with her bright aqua eyes. She had been there for a while, but this felt like her first day again. She walked forward into the building and surveyed her surroundings. She swore under her breath. I'm late! She rushed to her dorm.

    Tezlyn was grateful he dropped the topic and was happy enough to watch Mooch take of basically running a circle aroudn her and Alec. When he remembered his bag she looked up at him. "Yeah sure, I can watch him. Mooch seems to be having fun." she told him as she tugged the glove back on, her eyes still on the dogs as she did. If she didn't watch him she was sure Mooch would trip someone. He tripped her a lot when he wanted her to give him attention and she wasn't.
