  • Katie and Child's Play

Katie rode along, knowing that the other rider was probably close behind. She thought about the new TB yearling that had just come in for sale, that Nicole had had trouble with. She was a little stubborn yearling sometimes, Katie had seen her as she walked into the sale barn with her dam hovering above her. She would be for sale, and if someone bought her before she was weaned, they would have to let her dam tag along too until they could wean the little filly. Odd, unusual setup, Katie thought, but it was because of the filly's old barn closing up with a last-minute sale of all their horses. That explained a lot of where she came from. Katie thought for a moment, and remembered the filly's name- Maggie. How cute. Katie loved it when horses had cute names like that. She loved Bunny's name, it made her seem so snuggly and sweet. Of course, her mare could be a total jerk on some days, but whatever. Normal mare stuff was all.

Katie slowed Bunny and looked behind her, searching for the other rider.

  • katie just helps out, but the new foal for sale was unloaded into the barn by Nicole, the barn owner, so that's why I mentioned her. She was having trouble unloading the filly

    Ok. Thanks.

    IC:
Nicole slid off her horse and led him back to the stables. She led him into a was stall and took off his tack, then turned on the water.

  • Katie and Child's Play

Katie remembered the log up ahead and started up at a canter. She had gone over the jump more times than she could count, so she approached with confidence. When it came up, she went into two-point and Bunny sprung off the ground with her hind legs. Then they landed in the big field where you could freely gallop with no worries. Everyone loved this field. Katie wanted to find a good spot and start galloping, but she kindly waited for the other rider to either go around the log or jump over it. Most people chose jumping, but some people didn't do jumping and went around. Those were mostly the dressage riders, but it was rare that they decided to come to this spot.

  • OOC: lol btw i hope youve got an experienced rider cause galloping a stallion alongside a mare is like asking for a fall haha :)

IC: Katie cantered Bunny along, trying not to push her too hard.

  • Bethany strode into the stable and continued to dust off her dirt clad body from when she had fallen off Zeus after he froze in front of an oxer. She had the reins in her hand and an apologetic Zeus on the other end tailing her.The stallion's head was lowered slightly and his ears were angled forward wanting to be forgiven for the incident. Bethany looked back at him as she finished dusting herself off and sighted."It's all right Zeus.I know you didn't mean for that to happen but i also don't know why you did it in the first place" she soothed her stallion. She patted his neck and led him to the crossties. She untacked him and groomed him before putting him back in his stall. She took her helmet off and ran a hand through her black hair before making her way to the tack room to put Zeus' tack away.

Nicole finished bathing Giacomo. She dried him off and put on his tack. Then she led him outside and got on. She rode him through the green, grassy field and onto the path. The light shined through the trees and made little triangles on Giacomo's silvery coat.
