Brilliantscorch narrowed his green-amber-grey eyes, trying to decipher wheat was going on in this grey tom's head. "Well," he began slowly, "I do like my alone time. But I spend most of my time alone, and it gets quite dull and boring after a while." He sighed wearily and sat down, tucking his forepaws underneath him.

Thornfall wondered what Brill was thinking, but he was so hard to decipher. One moment he was okay, the next he was crazy, then back again. With another sigh, he sat down and curled his grey tail around his paws.
-

Brilliantscorch sank into a crouch, his amber-green-grey eyes just narrow slits in his face. His dark ginger paws were tucked beneath him, and his black-striped tail was wrapped close to his body. He rested his chin on the ground.
Suddenly, he queried: "What are your kits' names?"
-
Thornfall felt a smile play on his lips. He loved to talk about them, and he was happy that Brill had asked. "Smokekit, Applekit, Fernkit, and Creamkit." he meowed. "Two toms and two she-kits."
-

Brilliantscorch pricked his ears. Fernkit? He'd heard of Fernkit before... Although where, he didn't know.
"What are they like?" he asked, trying to keep the conversation going.
-
Thornfall did his best to describe his kits. "Well, Applekit's very adventurous, and quite a troublemaker. Luckily, her brother Smokekit keeps her in check. He always seems responsible for her."
(I'm not sure about Fernkit or Creamkit, since I don't play them. And Desertstorm (the person that does play them) isn't on that often, so...yeah...)
-
{Oh, okay. :3}

Brilliantscorch chuckled. "Sounds like quite a pawful, four kits." He always wondered what it would be like to be a father, with kits, but he never really wanted to be like that... He liked his independence.
-
Thornfall chuckled along with him. "Oh, you have no idea how much trouble they can be." he said, remembering Applekit's last 'adventure.' But he didn't feel like explaining that to Brill, so he didn't bring it up.
-

Brilliantscorch chuckled softly. He absolutely did NOT want kits now... A pawful, eh? Yep. Sure sounded like it.
-
Thornfall continued chuckling. "Yup, they sure know how to get under your pelt." he said. "But, even so, Applekit's going to be a great warrior when she grows up. Of that I am sure."
-

Brilliantscorch purred with amusement. "Well, they'll be warriors soon. Don't waste time dwelling on the future. Live in the moment!"
-
Thornfall nodded. "Great advice, Brill." he said. After a moment, he asked, "So, what do we do now?"
-

Brilliantscorch really didn't know. He guessed that there was nothing really to do..."Go back to camp?" he ventured. "Maybe we could look at your kits."
{OOC: Maybe you could just say that Creamkit and Fernkit are sleeping?}
-
(Sure. I gotta go now, though, because I'm practically falling asleep at the computer <3)
Thornfall nodded. "Okay, sure." And with that, he began to pad toward camp. -

Brilliantscorch got up and followed Thornfall to the ShadowClan camp.
{OOC: Haha, okay. 'Night!}
-
(Should we make a new thread or stick with this one?)
Thornfall kept walking.
-
{I'd say keep this one. It's easier.}
Brilliantscorch followed Thornfall, keeping up easily.

Finally, the two toms reached the ShadowClan camp. Thornfall headed straight for the nursery, glancing back every once in a while to make sure Brilliantscorch was still following. He was greeted by the mews of two of his kits. "Hi dad!" Applekit called, rushing up to her father. Smokekit followed more slowly, as if he had all the time in the world to greet his father. Thornfall licked the top of Applekit's head. "Hello, Applekit." he purred.
