Flameheart dropped the mouse and looked back up at Poppyleaf. "Well, now what do you want to do?" He asked her.

"I don't know," she meowed.
-
"Well, would you like to go lay by the water for a while longer?" Flameheart asked, picking up the mouse after he was done speaking.
-
Poppyleaf nodded. "That'll be fine," she purred. She picked up her scrawny mouse.
-
Flameheart nodded and dipped his head to let Poppyleaf go first. He wanted to make this day with her special.
-
Poppyleaf giggled. "Thank you, Flameheart," she meowed, as she bounded towards the shallow water. She dipped her paw slowly in the cold waters. She shivered as she saw another scaly fish coming towards her.
-
Flameheart watched Poppyleaf, smiling as he saw the fish coming towards her. He took a few steps forward to get a better view, but not enough to cast a shadow on the water or to distract Poppyleaf.
-
Poppyleaf shook her head. "Sorry, Flameheart," meowed Poppyleaf. "Just a bit distracted then."
-
"It's okay," Flameheart said, taking a few steps closer. "That wasn't the only time we'll see a fish!" Flameheart took a step back and lay down, looking up at Poppyleaf.
-
Poppyleaf purred. 'You're nice, Flameheart," she meowed. She twined her tail with his.
-
Flameheart purred and inched closer to Popyleaf. He loved her, and the moment was perfect. Especially her.
-
Poppyleaf sensed him coming closer, making her feel awkward. But she loved him so, she wasn't shy. She nuzzled him, purring.
-
Flameheart turned to her, his green eyes shining in the twilight. He intertwined his tail with hers, and lay down to have the water sing him to sleep.
-
Poppyleaf could not have felt better in her life. Although the sound of water did scare her, as she had a fear of fish. The tortoiseshell went to the dryer side of the shore, then curled around Flameheart.
-
Flameheart felt Poppyleaf leave his side, then come back around, though the feeling was slipping away as he fell into sleep. Under his eyelids he could still see Poppyleaf's figure, in front of the lake.
-
Poppyleaf yawned, her eyes closing as she got sleepier, and sleepier.....
-
As Flameheart slipped into his dream, there was a blur of colors, he was running through a forest, getting faster and faster as he went along.
-
Poppyleaf felt light as air, dreaming peacefully.
-
Eventually he came to a split in the forest, there was an enormous opening where the ground dropped into a lake. He stopped short in front of the dip, looking down as the wind blew around him.
-
Poppyleaf blinked, waking up. She looked around, and felt warmer. "It's almost newleaf!" she meowed aloud. The tortoiseshell looked at Flameheart.
